Crap that power% looked great! Now what happend to the overclock?

Did you reinstall the drivers after the flash?

Is it because the card is runing hotter now using more power?

I have to start over with my Overclock Settings on the GPU and Memory.
No I did not reinstall any Drivers. I do have an Old or Org Bios.

You should of used gpu-z to make a copy of your bios before flashing. Now you'll prob have to get a Hold of evga for a copy.

So is it benching higher atleast? Are you hitting power limit often like prior?

the FTW3 card can reach 127% power target now

Crap I can update my sons ftw3 Hybrid but not my ftw3 elite card :/
 


You can use NVflash to flash old Hybrid bios into ftw3 elite to match the GPU ID, then use the latest bios update program to flash again.
Or use NVflash to manually extract latest Hybrid bios from your flashed Hybrid card then flash it into the ftw3 elite.
Though I don't know if there is a difference in memory voltage since ftw elite has different memory frequency.

Ok cool. So it's just the packaged .exe bios that verifies the card first and I can get around that with other bios first.

There is still something not quite right with the newer vbioses. Bcav is hitting all sorts of performance caps when he shouldn't be. Bcav's core clock is suffering from hitting the performance caps too. His run should look like this.
 
What do the prefcap numbers mean in gpu-z? You can find that info here.

Thanks Sajin, was scratching my head looking at that myself. Guess it's better just wait for official word from EVGA than using some unknown origin BIOS.

You're right, but your original bios run shown here doesn't run into any perfcaps except for 1 which is to be expected. After updating your vbios you're now hitting all sorts of perfcaps including 1.

The value can be a combination of two or more flags, in which case they get added (technically OR'd). E.g.: 18 would be SW_THERMAL + SW_UTILIZATION (2 + 16)
