i did ICX upgrade.

from 1080 sc to 1080 sc2.

however my 1080 SC2 says :  This product is not available for Step-Up.

can anyone help me please?

Yes I can

Sadly mate from EVGA FAQ:

Can I Step-Up a product more than once?

No - A product received from Step-Up cannot be used in the Step-Up program.

i did mention that i UPGRADED from a 1080 sc with ACX 3.0 cooler to a 1080 SC2 with ICX cooling which RESETS the step up period.

but it's not letting me.

the $99 upgrade from ACX to ICX resetted the STEP UP to 90 days. i upgraded on 2/28/2017, so i'm well within STEP-UP period.

Please call EVGA. They can fix this. I know of at least one other user that had the same issue and they fixed it.

Hoping for some advice. I just recently bought the FTW2 ICX after using my intel 530 integrated GPU for 4 months...it was horrible, No games :(
I can step up to the 1080TI FE but really love the look of the FTW3, which won't be on the step up.
Since I paid $679 and the value dropped significantly would it be wise to do the step up, retain some value until the FTW3 comes out? Sell the FE then and buy the FTW3?
Any input would be appreciated. Thank you

Well, the options are either sell a card for less money or more money. I'd say easy choice!
I was going to do the same when I thought I'd hold out for a HydroCopper (which I've since decided not to).

You pay to ship your GPU to EVGA and the new GPU back to you in the Step Up process. Keep that in mind with your calculations.

I would at least submit for the Step up for one reason. The value of the TI FE is going to be great the next few weeks at the minimum. The value of the FTW2, not so much. This would allow, if the Step up Was fast, for you to get max value for the GPU.

The reality though, the Step up may not be fast and the value of the FTW2 is only going to continue to drop... Might be wise to cut your losses once the TI FTW3 actually releases so you can enjoy the FTW2 for as long as possible (VS. selling now).

And back to the step up. If it does not work out, you lost nothing by getting into the queue. You can always cancel up to the point of submitting the payment.

any information on what people still in the iCX queue need to do? or is it, as of now, wait for the iCX upgrade to go through, then submit step-up request?

Wait for the ICX to complete.

Now, as soon as they ship it, it will likely be registered for you automatically the day after it ships. If that happens, you can log in and start the Step up process before you even get the GPU in your hands

I figure I'd join the line from my 1070ftw2 that's literally arriving today from upgrading.
It doesn't show the queue number anymore?

That is a good thing! It means they will be updating your payment requirements. Be on the lookout for that email

Forreal!? lol that would be the quickest stepup in my life ahaha. I was expecting 2 months to wait haha.
You think the 1080ti and 780ti will play nice with each other on a 850w?
No issues with the 770ftw and the 780ti though

Just woke up after working the night shift and got mine in.... I paid $559 for my 1080 SC about 3 weeks ago.

Step up was $140... shipping $11.

$151.

I'll take it even if it means I'm waiting a month or two.  No problems with the 1080 till then.  Still an amazing card.

I too am thinking of going this route. I've done this in the past too with the 680FTW+ to 780Ti base(purchased the 780Ti SC). Step up while you can, get it. Hopefully, keep it sealed and sell asap to put towards FTW3 :) If were able to get this FC quickly the sale should go pretty quick too.

I just received my 1080 sc2 that I had done a step up from 980 ti ftw to the 1080 sc. What will I have to pay for step up to 1080 ti? My original purchase was $649.99 + tax and then the icx step up of $100.

I am not sure you will be able to step up again unless their FAQ is outdated.

Can I Step-Up a product more than once?

No - A product received from Step-Up cannot be used in the Step-Up program.

My 1080 classy still fell in the 120 days luckily so I went ahead and applied for stepup.

Since it was more than the 1080ti I just pay shipping which I guess is nice. Wish they would have had another option for the classy people but seeing as I only have about 20 days left I can't wait much longer to get in queue.

This seems to be the case for a lot of folks. Looks like EVGA provisioned a bunch of cards this time for the initial wave.

It would be the original price of the 1080 sc2 on the store, which i THINK was 679 usd. If you input 679, theh can adjust it later.

Even though I uploaded/submitted my GPU receipt when I registered the card back in 12/16/2016, I've still only received the Step 1 confirmation email thus far.
The step 1 confirmation email receipt 'follow-up hyperlink' leads to a page indicating "Invoice Uploaded? Yes".
Hopefully, I'll be able to submit my payment info soon... :fingers crossed:

Re: 1080 TI FE Step Up Thread 2017/03/10 17:37:31 (permalink)
Step 5 COMPLETED! I have the RMA and address. Guess I'll just wait till Monday to ship since I have to take the water block off and put the air cooler back on and get all the accessories ready. Won't have time to get it done and ready to ship by early morning. I can wait, I wasn't in a huge hurry to begin with. I'm just glad I got in on what looks to be the very first batch of cards going out. Excited! Now I wish I would have chose a better return shipping method. I was expecting to have to wait a minimum of a few weeks so I wasn't worried about a few more days but now that I can get it to them by Tuesday or Wednesday I'm really wishing I'd picked something other than standard ground.

Edit:  It says step 5 in the email but I suppose it's step 4 completed as per the OP.  I updated my original post with all the updated times for each step.
