mwickings I think you are missing the point...I am complaining about customer service. I have asked EVGA on two occasions and get nothing of value back, we hear but have not had confirmed that the cards in europe that were pre-ordered on the site will go out after the pre-orders from other retailers and could be 1-2 weeks later than their cards (potentially 3 weeks later than USA EVGA site orders). I asked for comment and conformation on when we can receive the cards, i got nothing back. Yet people asking these questions in the USA get replies to tickets and even on the forums to peoples concerns or quiries, there is still no responce on this thread from EVGA as to when EU website ordered can be expected, this is bad customer service. Now secondly they have said that in the US EVGA are giving priority to their pre-oders on the EVGA store, but in Europe they have said on a 3rd party forum the opposite is true, meaning that customers who go directly to them in Europe are not receiving the same customer service as those in the USA. In the USA EVGA supply suppliers such as newegg who are many orders of magnatude bigger and more important to EVGA than overclockers.co.uk who only serve the UK. So why is there this inequality in the customer service offered based on region. We should be able to trust in the EVGA brand, globally. If these people ordering from other retails were as loyal customers and we know from history (at least in the US) that EVGA prioritises their EVGA webstore customers, then those people would of ordered form the webstore. But they did not, because they were loyal to overclockers or whichever other retailer they choose, maybe they get all the compontants from them and that is why the used them?
Agree with this. First time going with EVGA and already cancelled my Hybrid on order since 27th. Nearly 3 weeks, no specs, no release date, but super happy to take my money :) I have no problem waiting, but what i dont like is not being kept in the loop. They know their specs, they know their expected date (don't give me "July" bull, you can be more accurate than that). As mwickings has pointed out, £690 is the most expensive price available in the UK, that's what i stumped up 100% for the Hybrid. The Sea Hawk is cheaper, but i paid a premium for this golden "EVGA Service", and as an early adopter and full payment customer, i really expected more. I pick up my MSI Gaming X on Friday. Saved myself £60, a GPU in my hand and from a retailer that i have 100% success in no haggle exchanges if a product is faulty. I'll revisit EVGA for a card in the future i'm sure, but my first experience is pretty poor.

This whole situation sounds like Nvidia wanted the Founders edition to be a one month exclusive card... I ran out of patience a week ago, but I guess I can't do anything but wait.

This is hilarious. So am I supposed to presume that I too am entitled to receive my shipment of sausage and bordeaux wine from France before anyone in Europe can consume theirs. Oh no... I see you reaching for the cork screw. Put it down, I don't have mine yet.

There... MSI 1080 Gaming X showed up at a distri here, and yes I can order at a distri. 2x FTW cancelled. I've managed to live without EVGA so far, I guess I'll continue to do so.

Today 1080 SC was available in EU Store for 40 min :) so maybe FTW will by available soon. I hope so :) Your Answer: Hello,
thank you for your message. We did have a limited amount of SC cards but they are out of stock at the moment. Unfortunately we are not able to give you a specific date for the availability of the FTW versions but they should be available shortly.
Kind regards, Your Question:

I'm european. I pre-ordered a 1080 SC back on launch. I haven't heard anything since. No email, no updates, and certainly no card. It's coming up on a month now with no updates. Still just says "pre-ordered" when visiting my orders page. I'm a patient fellow but the lack of information coming out is really, really frustrating. I could have bought several 1080's from different sources at this point.

I guess so. Never been so anxious for a company to charge my card asap... Well played EVGA, now charge my card.

+1 to that. As mentioned, on the 31st there was a bug that showed the cards in stock, and we got charged for buying and not preordering them. Still no word if these will be treated as a normal preorders, or we get some prio since our funds are GONE so we can't look for alternatives or use them unless the order is completely canceled thus lose our queue...

I'm one of that costumer too. We have an "order" not a "preorder". At least in my order history is listed like a normal order.

This is an interesting situation, I wonder how they will deal with it. I guess the best case scenario would be to fulfill and ship all (pre) orders in the EU up till the 1st of June with their first shipment. Satisfying both the pre-orders that were placed before the first of June, while simultaneously fulfilling orders that were already charged by accident. However, given the fact the card is in such high demand and supply seems to be an issue, I guess they got themselves into a pickle. Your card already got charged so you have every reason to expect your baby to arrive first. On the other hand, people who pre-ordered on the 27th/28th probably wouldn't mind having their card charged as well...

just an update, i have cancelled my FTW pre-order. Turns out OCUK has the Hybrid for pre-order already and they think it might go out before they can ship FTW's. Its £89 more than i was going to pay for the FTW, but its much better cooling and i was thinking to watercool the FTW anyway, so made sense. Might come before the FTW would have, might come after - but by the time either come it would be over 1 month anyway so whats a few more days either side, the excitement has died off anyway so i dont care about waiting now, if i had not of spent so much to get the rest of the build then i would not of bothered seeing it through xD (hats off to intel and asus, who launched their products the same time and i had them in under 1 week of luanch with no pre-order!)

I understand that both of us have the same rights but I did suggest evga refund our money while keeping us in queue, then charging us when it's our turn normally. After a couple of emails, they claimed that was not possible and that we ll actually get prio as soon as they get some stock on eu side. I doubt we are many anyways...

We pay high prices for gpus and evga completely ignores us... Others campanies are sending cards to Europe since launch, EVGA can not even give a estimated date. I was waiting for FTW versión, but i think that i will buy the gaindward GSH or the asus strix, i dont want to wait months for get my graphic card...
