Same story here, I've been patient too long now to give up my pre-order.

First "big' EU shipment was supposed to arrive somewhere this weekend or the coming week, according to JacobF, so EU pre-orders should be processing around the end of this week. Been hearing this for about two weeks now so I'm not holding my breath until I see a notification that my order has been sent out for delivery.

These things take time..... that's obvious but its really, really, crappy for EVGA to ship cards to retailers and leave the people who pre-ordered on their own site in the lurch.

As I'm still waiting for my 1080FTW I've picked up a 680 classified for peanuts. This delay in shipping is becoming a little bit of a joke. I hope EVGA offer us something like extended warranty's

True story, I also actually paid for it too, don't think it's even legal to buy something and not knowing when/if you are even going to get it. But finally the 1080 gaming x is starting to show up on local stores, so if there is no progress by thursday or something I ll probably ask for a refund too...

It is legal in the EU to sell a product if you don't know exactly when you can deliver it. As long as it's not delivered though, the buyer can refund the money and the contract between the buyer and the seller is invalidated at that point.

It's hard for me to explain those things in English, as I am from Germany, but those are the basic rules of how contracts between a customer and a company work whenever you buy something in the European Union :)

Sometimes there are delays with shipping from China. Everything comes with containers to either, Rotterdam or Hamburg. Then, transport is ordered by the big distribution companies that can stock high value merchandise. Then those are shipped to "EU-retailers", they decide they want it and login to the distribution company's website and order how many with probably a maximum ordering amount per retailer. I'm pretty sure EVGA only has one distribution company, probably like many other big corporation have the same setup. ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE etc.

Shipping to CA, USA takes alot shorter time from China. As they probably run theire own stockyard, and shipment there. People who pre-order probably gets it ASAP.

And the dockworkers are lazy, they dont care if five hundred thousend people are waiting for the merchandise. I can still recall the FIFA world cup in South Africa, where the Rotterdam harbour was delayed for two weeks because the Netherlands reached the the quarter finals...

Dont expect urgent shipping deliveries with the summer holiday ongoing in many countries.

Coming from a guy whose gotten alot of delayed containers.

funny how a month and a half without a GPU in your rig rewires your brain, reading books, having some evening running sessions, swimming, going out.  give me another month I won't need anything other than a 1060 lol....

That would probably be an idea for the future, atleast its feasable to do with cheaper cards that are easyer to RMA without loosing too much profitt on the returns.  Tho' it would never work with the same box.

My best guess its coming with container vessel MILLAU BRIDGE then, arriving on friday at Rotterdam. If thats the case. Couldn't find many ships going from Guangzhou, only one heading for the major ports. And its in the Suez canal at the moment.

That's some next level order tracking right there. Do you have a link for tracking that/those ships?

If it really does arrive on Friday it could be perfect. Taking some time for unloading could mean my card will probably arrive after I get back from ESL Cologne so that I'm actually at home when it arrives. :D

When i ordered on the evga site, something goes wrong, they took the money but not created the order. So after many mail they created it.
Now i'm not sure if I cancel the order they give me back the money, so I prefer let the paypal do the dirty job :P

My reseller in Poland has ETA on all mayor suppliers. Next shipment of ASUS Strix OC will be in 3 days about 20 pieces (regular 1080 Strixs are in stock from yesterday was 3 left from 15), MSI 10 pieces in 2 days... and I'm not surprised that they don't have any idea when they get some stock from EVGA. Ridiculous.

I'm really sorry that everyone is tired of waiting but hopefully just a few more days and a shipment will arrive in the EU. Then it's just a matter of waiting for customs/import approval.
