solasoft i get the same type of artifacts on pandora website ! And on the games . Evga asking me if my power supply is good. And reinstall the drivers ! EVGA GTX 1080 FTW. Happens on Company of Heroes 2.
Just to chime in here, I'm getting these kind of artifacts (Very rarely) in Firefox around images mostly but also seen it around some messages on forums with scrollbars. Scrolling up and down makes them move around and generally multiply and either refreshing the page or just resizing the window and then back to maximized fixes it for me. Chrome on my second monitor tends to be unaffected at the same time also. Twitch on firefox also seems to have some weird flickering issue where it goes partly black and you quickly see some weird colored squares inside the black flicker, it however happens very fast but quite frequently. Another interesting observation I've made is in the GOD EATER games on PC cause a brief flicker of these same colored squares whenever it switches to full screen (Borderless and Windowed do not cause this), might be some G-Sync issue but this is the only game where I see this happen. All 372.xx drivers have caused this on my old Win10 install and I saw it yesterday again on my new clean Win10 install with 369.0x (Windows Update installed) drivers. And just to put salt in my wounds the drivers decided to crash in Far Cry Primal once again as I just got into the game, had Chrome up on my second monitor with Twitch TV so that might have caused it. HITMAN has worked great for several 3h+ sessions and Unigine at 1440p max AA also ran no problem for 10 hours during the night on my new install at least.

I have the same issue, my card is a NIB replacement after the the first had the 100% BS issue. One thing after another. Currently running 372.90 no overclocks on top of stock. Happens in several games as well as google chrome watching 4k videos in fullscreen and then exiting fullscreen. Screenshots in game below, I won't have time to try different drivers until sunday.

Hello guys, I'm having the same issues here and I already thought my gfx card has gone down the drain. I've read through some here and googled a bit and found out that there's some kind of voltage issue with Micron memory modules on these cards. I happen to have that type of memory on my EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW Gaming ACX 3.0, 8192 MB GDDR5X. Neither the drivers nor temperatures are the problem here (46° - 58°C on full performance). I had two different versions installed (clean with DDU) and it still happened, although on very rare occasions but always on full boost power (1987 MHz according to G510 Display). I could also alt-tab the problem away, basically removing the artifacts and continue to play but it's still a serious issue nonetheless. I was able to capture some of these artifacts.

@sirgrinalot @DEmonCrypt Have you guys tried underclocking your cards to see if it helps stop the problem?

Those artifacts happened to me for the first time yesterday in Wolfenstein New Order, so I don't think it's game specific. I do not OC the card and all components are new, including the EVGA power supply and the corsair memory. Power is set to optimal. It's not temps. No matter what game I play, GPU temps never exceed 70C, so (well I'm not the expert) but I don't think the GPU clock is the issue. Just installed the new 373.06 driver. Will see if it happens again. So far for me this is the only game (OGL) it happened in.

I am also having these issues in Rainbow Six Siege. It happens randomly and I am not sure what is causing it. GTX 1080 FTW I have searched all over the internet and I have seen these same exact artifacts across multiple games. I'm starting to think the 10 series is having issues, I am sure we will see more and more of this in the near future. Going to see about an RMA.

I am gonna RMA both of mine and request a refund. Artifacts on some web pages and completely locking up my pc just browsing web sites. Lucky I still have my 2 Founder's Editions that was gonna sell to a couple of people willing to buy them but that will not be possible. Them cards don't even exibit this problem at all. Down clocking them isn't really the answer to this problem.

Does the issue happen on other outputs?
you need to turn down all the geforce experence function like FPS count record ETC. that works for me for this issue: forums.evga.com/is-my-1070-ftw-burned-m2558234.aspx#2558234 and it never happen again

Wrong. The Micron issue is with power to the GDDR5 modules found on the 1070 and not the GDDR5X memory found on the 1080. Don't confuse the issue.

Once in a long while, my SC Gaming will randomly artifact in Siege. However, it happens so rarely that I consider it a non issue for me.

I had artifacts in my Titan X P...thought the card might be bad. I did a "check game files" for each game...started the game...no artifacts.

I am really confused, looking at these pictures you guys are posting is the same exact artifacts i am getting with my GTX 1070 with Micron GDDR5 Memory in Mirror Edge Catalyst as i switch resolutions, turn vsync on/off or change graphics pre-set .. What is going on here? is that an issue with Micron memory in general be it GDDR5 or 5X? or is it a general power delivery issue with all Pascal BIOS? This issue is getting harder and harder to diagnose, and i feel that i don't understand anything anymore!

I have a similar issue as well. The issue started after over a month with out any issues. It originally started with Rainbow 6 Siege and then happened on chrome which lead me to believe it was hardware. Ended up checking hardware to see if it was an issue (even replaced my psu) as I didn't think it was an issue with the gpu. I did follow the troubleshooting steps (including stock and underclock), reinstalled and rolled back drivers no change. I'm going to go start the rma process Bloom setting causes the sun effect in the first but I also have this random dots. Seems to happen at random, was ~60C-70C I have plenty more from siege of varying severity. I wasn't able to capture the chrome one as that was the worst, black bars across the whole screen which would flash when my mouse got near and always the flashing area was a square. Specs: I7 4900k @ 4.0ghz Gigabyte Z97x-sli (rev 1.0) 16 gb ddr3 850 watt P2 Psu evga 1080 ftw (factory oc)

Are you running 373.06? These texture/artifact issues are well documented for that release - I would suggest doing a full cleanup with DDU (DisplayDriverUninstaller) and install 272.90
