Managed to score a EVGA GTX 1080 and 1070 All-in-One Hybrid Water Cooler [400-HY-5188-B1] from Microcenter for $74.99 after price match and rebate. Also got a 140mm Corsair SP140 for $4.99 (lol).

Stuck it on a 1080Ti FE & the whole thing works really nice. Benching with the Power Target @120%, +150 Core and the rad fan at 860RPM I get 43c over ambient during a 2 hour run (65c if absolute temp is your thing). Clocks stayed at 2000MHz -/+ 50MHz with 2 copy's of Valley & 2 copys of Heaven running @1080p max preset.
- Keep in mind the rad fan is handling pulling the 100w of CPU exhaust out too. So temps would prob be about 6c cooler if the rad was in a different spot.

For my first AIO I have to say everything is great except the pump is a bit noisy and vibrates even after tilting the case while the pump was running to try and get the air bubbles out. I think the rad may have been underfilled because you were able to hear water sloshing around. Also omg the fan I have in pull mode gets super hot (50c according to my raytek).

Ohhh pro-tip to anyone who has some DIY skills:

The pump and fan use about 8w of power. If you can manage to connect them elsewhere you will have more power available for your GPU.

I de-soldered the stock wires and connected the pump directly to the PSU by soldering one of the PSU modular connectors (12v) directly to the pump PCB (connector CD06 plugged into the PSU in pic 2). As for the fan it's connected to a motherboard header.

Pump also has a spot to solder a tach sensor wire if you were so inclined.

You do know you have Zero Warranty now on your Hybrid Cooler?

Excellent work. I just did the same thing. Temps are 47C. Ambient is around 30C.

I have the card running at +150 (2050MHz) and +400 on the memory. With the GPU fan set to 40%.

Overall, I'm very pleased and no need for the 1080 Ti AIO. Unless you want the aesthetic appeal.

EDIT: Also, I want to note that GamersNexus tested the VRM temps with the stock cooler and the AIO mod and there was no change in temps. So no worries.

    :P *bump*

I know, it's the price to pay for customizing things, but you could totally make a adapter and not mod the pump, but the wiring won't be as clean.

On the plus side the rad/pump is Asetek branded and it looks standard, it even has the star ring mounting points to use it as a CPU cooler. The special part is the metal plate (which is removable) that adapts it to Nvidias hole spacing. So if it does fail it should be a cheap replacement.

As for the tubing and whatnot, I didn't touch that. The the pump is a completely sealed unit, the coils for the motor are on the outside. Even if the board were to blow up the worst that would happen is water flow would stop.

AFAIK the GPU counts the power the fan draws as part of the total power limit (12v the fan gets goes through the current sense shunt resistors just like everything else on the board). ...At least it did on the 9xx series cards, which is why I opted to connect the pump elsewhere.

    Nice temps and OC.

The looks aren't as clean without the shroud but depending on the person the price difference might be worth it. I mean $160 for the Titan/Ti kit vs $85 (w/rebate) for the 1070/1080 kit - or in this case $75.

Memory OC is next. I wonder how far the new Micron 11Gbps GDDR5x can go!

I got to +500. I know Pascal's generation can actually degrade in performance if you go too high. Even if you don't see any green artifacting. I may try +600 just to see, though...

As for my core, after editing MSI Afterburner to allow for voltage control. I am sitting at a max core of 2088 with 1.093v. If I reach for 2100, it'll crash.

hey i have the evga gtx hyrbid 1080ti edtion.  The pump appears to be the same.    All i need to know is which wire for the pump part is the 12 and ground.  I want to hook up the pump to the molex on my pc.   The reason is for a personal project im doing.   Can you maybe help me figure it out?

Pop the pump top off by squeezing it, it is held on with 2 very loose clips.  Power and ground is silk screened on the PCB, find the pads and then follow the wire down to the connector.

This is the best picture I have, you can't see the text so I labeled it:
