I bought a GT 1030 as I needed a single pci bracket card with no power plug.

FYI: If you buy the EVGA model 02G-P4-6333-KR, the card runs in PCI-E 3.0 x4 speed mode. I was beating my head trying to figure out why the card was stuck in the x4 speed, well it's made that way. EVGA should put that info on the spec page of the card instead of just PCI-E 3.0 that the listing currently shows.

The card works fine for what it was purchased to do, which is browse the net and watch videos. For fun, I ran it through Fire Strike @ 1360x768 and it did surprisingly well for the cards specs. Overall, it's a good little card and runs very cool.

That's all, just wanted to let people know that the x4 speed is normal for this card so they don't go racking their brain trying to figure out why it's stuck at the x4 speed.

Peace!

    PCIe 3.0 x4 seems reasonable for a 1030.
