I will be the proud new parent of a 1080 ti ftw3 on Tuesday. I have had evga cards for years and they are awesome cards. Evga's warranty is even better. Now, my current gpu is a 980 ti classified. I have searched as hard as I can and cannot find anything about anyone putting a kraken g10 or 12 on a ftw3. I have one on my classy, but when my 1080 ti gets here I wanna put it on it to keep case temps as low as possible. Is there any "modding" necessary for the ftw3 like on my classy? Or does anyone know if the mid plate is similar to the classy?

I can't answer that for certain, but you'll likely have to remove the midplate for the AIO cooler plate to contact the GPU die or use a copper shim.

Man, that sucks. On my classy I ended up filing down the tabs on the midplate just enough for the cooler to sit down in there. Works extremely well. Gpu load Temps don't go over 40c most of the time. I just don't know if I want to file on such a good looking brand new card yet. Hmmm
