Hi hopefully someone can help out or point me in the right direction.
 
I have the EVGA 1060 6GB SSC card, on the card I have 3 Display Ports and 1 HDMI
Order is DP 1 | DP 2 | HDMI | DP 3
I have a 1920x1080 gaming monitor that puts out 240hz out of the DP(s) only Port 2 does 240hz the rest do 200hz or less.
I recently bought a second monitor that does 4K/60 when I plug that into any of the other DP(s) it only does 30hz if I put it to 60hz the screen does horizontal glitches ( i get an image it doesn't go to a black screen), but if i plug that same monitor into the DP 2 it does the no issue.
 
It is as if DP2 is the only that works as intended.
 
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I only noticed this because of the 4k monitor purchase after a couple years of having the card.

Thanks figured the best place to get help would be these forums never had an issue before.

When I get home ill provide the exact specs that I have. Thanks yeah the only thing I could find on my own was doing a clean driver installation but wanted to see what other options.

What is the make and model of the 4K monitor?
And while we are at it, could you provide system specs plus other 1080 monitor.
The info can help others help you.

Edit2: It is designed to cap at 30Hz over HDMI > PB287Q specifications

Could be the OEM cables are just not the best for what you are asking of them and 240Hz is the max for the ROG Strix XG248Q.

I'm not sure you phrased that correctly. I believe what you are saying is that regardless of what DP cable you use your 240hz display will not work at 240hz on DP port 2 but will on DP ports 1 and 3, correct? Of course if you plug in your 60Hz 4K, you're not going to see the option for 240hz.

No, I worded it correctly if I take Monitor 1 (240hz) that is plugged in DP 2 and i take it to DP 1 of DP 3 the output option of 240 no longer is shown. This is with only one monitor plugged in.
Now if that monitor is taken out of DP2 and I plug in just the 4k into DP2 then 4k works at 60hz but if I take the 4k and plug into say DP1 then 60 doesn't work and the screen glitches

 
You didn't but that's okay.

You meant different PORT.
 
Too be perfectly honest, if you're not using the same cable, it appears that you have two defective ports on the GPU. DP2 is the only output working correctly.
