i updated my asus b550 f bios and now my cpu runs 8 degrees hotter. the 5800x3d runs hotter i hear but before bios update i wasnt having any temp problems. i was hitting mid 60,s in modern warfare and now it dets up to 80 and 82 c. wish i new how to undervolt it im hearing yhat helps alot.

    has anybody had this problem. asus b550 f gaming, ryzen 7 5800x3d after bios update cpu temps have gone up 8 to 10 degrees.

    Hi freakdaddy64,
     
    Did you adjust everything in your bios to what your prior bios settings were?
    Did you remember to set docp?

    i did my docp and whats the pbo ,also i replaced my nzxt aio today with an noctua nhu12a and its only getting up to 72 or 75 c in modern warfare now it was as high as 87c. im going to rma the aio.

    in this b550 the pbo gives 2 choices auto and manual and everything is on auto. as far as manual i wouldnt know what to put in there. and i wish i knew how to undervolt the cpu i hear that helps lower temps without affecting performance. and thanks for replies.
