umm yeah what happened to tasmac? and esp the Tasmac's Ubuntu -bigadv Install guide?

I was looking for info on this can someone who rememebrs all of this make a new thread that tells us how to do ubuntu bigadv folding?

thanks for doeing so if you can please, anyone.

think the br for tasmac should be removed but that's just me i don't understand why a folder would remove a guide how to fold these big adv wu's on ubuntu at all.

also will a p55 with 8GB memory and i7 860 be enough to do these big adv wu's?

i know most are done on 920's etc.. have not read much on 8 thread 1156 socket cpu though.

100% agree, what a sad experience. I'm trying to learn Ubuntu, but needed some additional info on how to install apps that I'm used to using and adapt them to Linux. I'm so behind now with bigadv, probably won't do any more if I don't get a handle on this soon. Will go back to W7 later today.

Well let's see.... when evga changed their forum..relinked nvidia changed theirs too..links no good, two rummers, changed thier website to gpu3.hostei.com thier link changed. imageshack managed to delete some of the pictures for that post GRRRR. also it was hard for some folks to understand (my fault) so yup I had to redo it.
Tasmac had Major health issues, I never went anywhere. I didnt pack up my toys and go home, just couldnt afford to fold till I got better and back to work. I forgot about it till I seen WB's -bigadv post :) anywho I did redo the gpu folding and thought a mod might relink it to SimC33's post that would be cool.
Today I seen this post........ Hmmmm nice to see no one kicks ya when your down. and 2 pm's one from wb asking how the doctors appt's were going and one from pgmoney april 23 telling me about the chimp challenge, 5 days after his quoted message above.

mflanaga, I will take your statement in consideration. my point prodution is not that great, but there are teams who will accept them. thank you

pgmoney, I never really took post counts or blue ribbons as high points to this forum. The way this team stuck together when a member was in need is what was close to my heart. I don't think I feel that warm fuzzy feeling after reading this post.

Governator. I'm sorry for your sad experience

wb, thanks for all that we have talked about, you sound like an all around good joe :) Im really glad you redone that post too, very nicely I might add. well done
