The company has reportedly settled on RTX 4070 non-Ti SKU price at $599. This information was confirmed during a press briefing, which usually takes place before each launch. Reviewers are now expecting their RTX 4070 test units to arrive early next week. Although we confirmed this price with three sources, just be aware that NVIDIA is known for last-minute changes in regard to pricing.
At $599, the RTX 4070 will be a lot cheaper than the RTX 4070 Ti, which was initially priced at $899. As a reminder, the Ti model was initially called RTX 4080 12GB, but after a community backlash NVIDIA made a surprising decision to ‘unlaunch’ the card. The same card but with a new name was released at $799 a few weeks later. The RTX 4070 pricing is to match RTX 3070 Ti at launch. Interestingly, this price has not changed much, even 1.5 years after launch (June 2021). The RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3060 Ti SKUs were among the most popular Ampere cards.
 
In terms of specs, the card will feature just as many cores as the RTX 3070 (5888 CUDA), but the memory will be upgraded to GDDR6X technology, and it will have 4GB more capacity. Despite a narrower memory bus (192-bit), it will still have higher maximum bandwidth thanks to 21 Gbps modules. The RTX 4070 is now set to launch on April 13th. We will keep you updated should there be any change.
 
This is a rumour, but the price point seems to be aligned with other internet leaks.

    That will be a founders, only a few AIB's will have their low end at that price. Founders will probably the only one worth getting so the average pc gamer GL on getting it. A bit much for a mid range 70's flavored card.
