All, I recently purchased an EVGA 2080 TI FTW3 HydroCopper GOU from EVGAs website. I'm currently deployed, so my house sitter signed for it and is holding it at my house.

When the card came in, he sent me a picture of the SN and P/N. From the website, the card should have a P/N of 11G-P4-2489-KR but the box clearly shows 08G-P4-2489-KR which doesn't match any known EVGA GOUs on their website. Also, the 08G P/N appears to be allocated to 8GB cards where the 2080 TI is clearly not.

When I tried to register the card using the SN and P/N on the box it said the SN didn't match the associated P/N. As I said I'm deployed, so u can't test the card out. Is it possible it's just a typo on the sticker? Need help!

Ok got off phone with EVGA. Apparently I'm not the only one. Should just be a typo as the rest of the P/N is correct from them. As a precaution, they are having me send in a photo of the SN and P/N as well as the front of the box in case I need to RMA it in March.

Bottom Line, early buyers of the 2080 TI FTW3 HydroCopper, beware of a possible misprint on the P/N but the card should be correct.

Shout out to Benny at EVGA for great customer service.

i received mine yesterday with the same problem. The sticker on the box and card start with 08 and not 11. Glad to know i am not the only one.
