tbh the rumors now saying 40 series in Q3 aren't making me want to pull the trigger on a 3090 Ti anymore

I'm sure these GPUs will fly off the shelf and be sold out again.  GPUs have been selling like hot cakes since 10xx series as it gets worse and worse with each gen that's been released, not to mention the population around the globe growing and wanting one for w/e reason.  Everyone had said similarly things as we got closer to the next gen not realizing they'd be waiting months for a GPU if not the following year.  I wouldn't put all the eggs in one basket is all I'm saying.  On the flipside, you also have the option to resell the GPU at a decent level if things go the way they've always gone.

i assume the 40 series queue will make it possible to at least buy 1 sku, so i'll stick with the kingpins and act accordingly. if the 40 series drops this fast then i wouldn't be surprised if the 4090 kingpin is shortly behind seeing as they're using the same layouts and all. guess we will see
