when i was a kid the first omen movie gave me nightmares but know im older and have watched it a few times it has no effect .same with the exocist that dont scare me .so i enjoy a good horror movie but they just cant make a good one for me anyway.
i liked the grunge and the ring but they didnt get me on the edge of my seat.
never attempt to remove a fly from your friends head with a meat cleaver .

the only movie that scared me, which is more of a thriller than horror, is silence of the lambs. when i watched it on HBO when i was like 8 or w/e, i was home alone at like 9pm and it was uber scary since Hannible lector or w/e is creepy.

The first time I ever saw the Exorcist it gave me nightmares for weeks (8 years old in 86). After seeing Penny Wise in Stephen Kings "IT", I have been very leery of clowns. LMAO

No movie has ever scared me, but a game has. I played Doom 3 in the dark by myself when I was 11 or 12, and it was the only time I've ever had a nightmare.

Its wasn't a Horror flick that did it. When I was little, the movie West World was playing at an outdoor theater. My sister, who was 2 years older than I, sneaked in to see it. When Yule Brenner got half his robot face shot off, I got really scared, it freaked me out!

Yeah only movie I ever remember giving me nightmares is the exorcist when I was a kid. Don't remember who would've let a little kid like me watch that! Don't ever let a little kid watch that unless you wanna give them nightmares. After I got older not much scares me since I was in the military and seen it all so horror movies don't do much for me anymore. Only other horror movies that made any impact on me was "Children of the Corn" when I was a kid but I think that only made me scared of walking through corn fields since there was a lot around where I lived. Candyman had a couple of scenes that made me jump. I just watched it again not long ago to see if it was still scary and it wasn't as scary as first time since I already seen it but I think one part still made me jump. Oh and Pitchblack I don't think is considered horror but if you never seen it before watch it in the dark and I guarantee it will make you jump! Like Riddick says "you aren't afraid of the dark are you?" p.s. honorable mentions are like the shining, cujo, and the freddy kruger and friday 13 movies but those only seem to scary when you are a teenager and never been away from home and never been camping,etc I think.

"The Shining" scared me. I first saw it when I was around 10, maybe younger. Of course these days movies don't scare me, and I hardly watch horror movies anymore since 95% of them suck.

my parents would'nt let me watch scary flixs but my dad was watching a movie i think it was killer grizzly i could setup in bed and see the tv, when i seen that thing killing people and burying them to eat later i was freaking out,lol i was so scared what made it worse i had to go racoon hunting the next night with my dad and grandpaw,i felt like that thing was tracking me it was pitch black dark in the woods, every time my dad would stop walking i would run into him because i was shining a flash light behind me looking backwards

This is going to sound terrible but, I watch Darkness Falls one night back in 2004. It is basically about an evil Tooth Fairy.. I know pathetic... Anyway the movie it self wasn't all that scary to me but that night I had the worst dreams of my entire life and remember I was 25 back then..... Anyway for a solid week I couldn't sleep for crap. When I did sleep that BIT** would terrify me... Craziest thing ever..... let the flaming begin.....

a tale of two sisters, also is one of the best I've ever seen.
Paranormal activity was scary because of how well they made it seem real plus you can't beat a still shot in a first person camera movie.
