This is the worst B movie ever made, but when your eight and your big brother tells you it's a true story you start to check under the bed

Classic, one of my dad's favorite movies.

I cant believe no one has mentioned "Even Horizon"  I don't know what it was, but that movie bothered me.  I can't say that I was scared, but I left that theater with a weird feeling.

The guy on the right looks like a slightly younger McCain. ....Creepy.

The first time I ever saw the Exorcist it gave me nightmares for weeks (8 years old in 86).  After seeing Penny Wise in Stephen Kings "IT", I have  been very leery of clowns.  LMAO

IT gave me nightmares for two weeks....I was afraid if the drain in the dang shower...brrrrrr gave me the chills just thinking about it LOL

Paranormal Activity was one of the few movies that has really made me think twice about noises in my apartment at night.  Its been a LONG time since a movie really scared me, but if you watch this movie in the right environment (dark room, at night, good sound system) its pretty disturbing.  Like garnetandblack said  before, demon possesion has always been kinda freaky to me just because it has that supernatural/could-be-real effect.

Haha.... Paranormal Activity! What a story! So... i can home from school and hanging out with friends one day, it was late in the day so the sun was almost all the way down, just a tad bit of light outside, and i walk inside and i kid you not ALL the lights in the house where on... and i walk back to my brothers room, who was the only one there to investigate and he is FLIPPING OUT... haha never was really a fan of scary movies or anything, and he hardly ever watched them, so as soon as he told me why he was scared i nearly fell on the floor laughing... then went around turning all the lights off that i could and making noises and what not... too funny, later that night he convinced me to watch it, and i didn't jump a SINGLE! time till the very end, thought it was over and then..... BAM! He hits the screen and i was like woa ****? The girls scream was the scariest part of it all lol

Another cool thing is one of my friends has a closet that looks picture PERFECT EXACTLY like the closet from the movie, kinda freaky and cool at the same time!

Rocky Horror, the movie didn't scear me, but walking through the parking lot at midnight in midtown ,the first time , with the way people were dressed, was a little scarey. espically the first time I saw someone dressed as Frankenfurter.

Not to many movies scare me, most horrors movies now and days are about the gore factor. The movies that scare me the most are the ones that mess with my brain afterwords. After seeing the movie signs, or blair witch project, or something of that nature...

were It could be a random day, months or years after seeing a movie, I hear a sound, and my mind flips back to one of those movies and gets the better judgment of me

the movie paranormal activity really didnt scare me much, nor will it afterwords, I have had my own ghost experiences and I am kind of use to it

Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.

I heard mixed reviews on "The 4th Kind" I heard they couldn't afford special effects so they just overused the crap out oof the distorted VHS tape effect... Maybe I need to watch it? I love alien movies and sci fi stuff.

The first time I watched "I am Legend" I never saw any trailers, never even knew what the movie was about what so ever. When all those dudes were standing around the first time we actually see "the infected" I jumped a little. Then the person beside me whispered "circle jerk......" and I almost peed lol so much.

Slugs are gross, and when they crawl inside you and kill you there is nothing more terrifying.

Yeah those are the only kind that can get to me, the suspense ones.  I watch Saw or anything like that and laugh.  EH was my top pick forever, until The Grudge came out.  I still have only seen that movie once, in the theater.  I figured it must have had some serious spooky factor when the couple in front of my friends and I got up and left once it started really going.  I also saw the original after that, Ju-on.  It was good, but I have to say that the American version with the much better effects/sound is IMO better and wayyyyy creepier.

That just goes to show everyone is different, because I had a completely different feeling after watching that movie.  I left the theater thinking that was the worst movie I ever payed money to watch.   "Event Horizon" is still used around my house to describe something that sucks majorly
