I keep pressing the link to get EVGA Precision XOC and then I get sent to a screen asking for my password which I give. I then click the accept and try to go to the software again and all it does it loop me back over and over [about 5 times now] to the place asking me for my password yet again. I never get to the download page.

Great new policy you have. Ask for password 5 times and still nothing.

Why did I spend thousands of dollars for graphics cards etc for this?
It is stupid.

I had that happen because I didn't scroll down a check a couple of "Agree" (or something like that, I forget now) boxes..After that, no problemo.

Don't know if that's your issue or not, but it was an oversight on my part.

I just gave it a try and it worked without any issue.

However like bob16314 mentioned, had to scroll all way down to check all the appropriate boxes.

You can always get it on Steam. Less hassle that way. The whole login before download thing doesn't make much sense. Apart from precisionX, most of the utilities only work with EVGA products anyway.

I checked all of the boxes.
My other problem is why are they even doing this? It seems very intrusive and totally unneeded.
I might have to start buying some where else if this continues.
I refuse to be treated like garbage by a company I have spent much money on.
It use to be that companies tried to do what was best for the customer and NOT just serve themselves and treat customers like garbage.
I have to buy some new equipment for friends [I fix the computers where I am] and will be reconsidering buying EVGA as I do not want them to go through this stupidity.
Sorry but they lost a lot here for now.
Will see if they bother to change or not and consider customers as important again.

New laws in the EU and a general update in terms for EVGA - as ALL companies have done - Not sure why this upsets you so much

Many companies have recently made changes, mostly because of the New EU laws recent effective date

Maybe because I am not European and also because I remember what it was like to be a valued customer? But now a days you can (removed language) on anyone and say "hey it is the new rules, tough luck." And people are , oh ok then.
Me I prefer to spend my money where I will be treated decently and not like a thing to obey draconian laws.

ALSO I have been to other sites with the new EU laws and they certainly do NOT treat us like EVGA has.
So yeah it is EVGA's "choice" to do this.
Just as it is mt choice to send my customers elsewhere to buy products.

Same here.  Practically everywhere I have an account has required me to accept new terms and privacy policies.

I have been getting updates but no where do I have to sign in and then if I want to go to a forum [like this one] give my password once again and then sign an agreement with everything filled out [like address, phone number etc] just to go to a forum.
THIS is the only place that requires that before letting me come here. No other place says they need my address, phone number etc just to access a forum. Simply signing up was good enough before and still is in ALL of the other places I go to.

    To bcavnaugh
I am unable to reply to your private post to me. Warning taken. I will shut up now as I see by your warning that as a buyer of EVGA products my opinion has no value here.
If I could I would delete this whole post. After all. Why keep it here if all I will get is abuse for daring to not like something here.

Also I am not an American. Never said I was.
Also never had to sign in like that before either so not sure where you got that information from.

Another thing to try is other browsers. Sometimes when how cookies are treated changes different browsers handle it better then others. Also check for any browser updates since the EU ruling went into effect.

I am fine with this except I find I am having to do it every time I sign in though which gets annoying fast is all.

Whatever, it is what it is. I can't change it so I guess this thread is ended. Anyway to lock it?
    Done.
