My X79 Dark has done decent after a few issues with DOA, bad bios chip etc at build. This board was a replacement for my X58 Classy. I came home to do some gaming and found that my computer now has the endless connected/disconnected USB sound from my 3.0 ports. One of my HDD has thousands of errors in the log and no longer is showing up in windows. My SSD Raid array has also failed with all 3 drives in the array showing up in bios and the raid manager but not in windows and that windows wants me to format the array. I have an external enclosure in route to test the drives. I know the USB3.0 was suspect on these boards from day one, but any ideas on the drives? Already swapped cables, ports, and PSU is solid.

Drives do have an EOF and fail once in a while.
Which X79 Dark MB do you have With Bluetooth or Without Bluetooth?
    Are you Running Bios 2.14
What OS are you running and What Version like Windows 10 1803 or Windows 7 Sp1 and so on?
Is this a Fresh OS Install or taken from your old X58?
Are you running the Current Chipset Drivers?
Intel® X79/X99/X299/Z170/Z270/Z370/Z390 Chipset Driver for Windows Current Version: 10.1.17809.8096

You have 3 SSD's in raid so I assume it's Raid 5 JBOD. If one fails, they all fail no matter the Raid array. I hope you do external backups so you can rebuild it. Yes testing each one individually will be the key. On the USB problem, sometimes just rearranging where the devices are plugged in will cure it.

That is me in the picture, anyone else ever pet a live Lion?
