Hey all, long time since I need a hand with something. But I having an issue with my X-58 classified 3 mobo. Now its been this way since I've owned it but each time i install the recommended Realtek audio divers my computer will bluescreen constantly. Now if I uninstall them and have stock drivers it works fine. But lately I've noticed a electrical humming in my mic when i record videos for my youtube. I've been using a program to clean up the audio to get rid of the hum in post. I would like to know two things. Is there a fix for the bluescreen someone else knows? or Would you think that I'd run into the same issue with a nice Audio card and it's drivers? If you could recommend a quality Driver or Audio Card choice I'd be grateful!

Howdy Sajin! Okay, I've done a pretty end to end testing on things that normally I've seen blue screens happen when realtek is installed and it seems to be running stable, I even updated my drivers for my 770 sc to the 441.12 and still yet no blue screens since last I posted. This should help with narrowing down the cause of the electrical hum I've been having in recordings, I run a 3.5mm jack that's in the front, but I'm considering getting a yeti or something more capable. Just wondering is there any difference that you know of 3.5 quality being different from back to front jacks, I'm using a Corsair 800D case, so couldn't believe their stuff wouldn't be that bad , yet plugging directly into the Classified 3 Mobo 3.5 back jack with these new drivers might be better quality no? Just thought I'd pick your brain while I had your attention lol. I'm really hoping to get a new rig built soon but like I said before, was also considering a sound card. I know EVGA has one now. But Not sure if its compatible with my MOBO. Anyways, just want to let ya know things are good so far and ask a few others questions audiophile here and I KNOW how youtube comments work when audio is bad xD

Glad to hear the newer drivers have stopped your bluescreen issue. Yes, plugging into the motherboard would be best. The nu audio card should work just fine with your motherboard.
