Newegg has the Titan-X's in stock now. (sc'ed model)

My 1st gen Titan is not cutting it for 1080/60 in FC4 maxed out(getting 50fps dips), and i was only into
picking up the Titan-X sc'ed direct from evga, but it's never in stock.

And since the old Titan is holding me back from max settings in GTA:V in only 1080p/60,
i figured what the heck..just buy this gpu!.

So..i ordered one from Newegg, and ate the $60 extra cost. (btw: why the heck is it $60 extra?)

Ironically the $60 is killing me more then the 1K price on this gpu..lol.

I sure hope it's worth it and the 980TI is not launched in 1-2 months with better
performance.

Now watch i get a lemon in this silcon lottery ;)

btw: Kinda glad i did this as i know a 4K HDTV will be a purchase for me this winter and i can SLI another and not worry about vRam issues.

I did the same thing have enjoyed my Titan X for 3 weeks now I think, it's $60 more because supply/demand, they know it will sell they could probably put $100 more for it and it would still sell out.

Actually i agree it is about the demand for the gpu. Some places are charging $1300 or so, in fact.

And i'm really content i bought this, as with using 4x DSR in 1080p in GTA:V..wow, what a difference from native 1080p.
Since this 1st gen Titan cannot handle max out settings using 4X DSR with fps in the 15-25fps range, this is where the
Titan-X is much needed for me.

I'm pairing it with a gsync 4K as well, so if i get 30+ in 4K, i should get a very smooth frame rate.

     Thanks for the reply!.

People paying the markup is just going to encourage NV to charge $1300 for the Titan Y or whatever the next one is.  But it's a lost cause - studies have shown people are dumb and will take a less optimal selfish outcome over a more optimal outcome that benefits the entire group.

It would help if EVGA would sell them through their own site.

Yeah for me it would be $160 extra with the $100 in taxes...same with Amazon...Tiger Direct or EVGA with GPU's.  Or Amazon and ship to my parent's house 2.5 hours away.
