Is the windows 10 movie player fine for playing 4k movies? Its what I have been using, I assume its playing in 4k as my computer resolution is set to that.

    It doesn't really work like that. First of all the movie you wish to view has to be 4K. Secondly both monitor and operating system has to support 4k. Hardware as well.

    Yes I have all the requirements, I was just asking because when I googled best pc 4k players I read windows media didnt work. My media player plays the 58gb 4k files just fine so why the need for a second player like vlc player which for whatever reason stutters on me..

    Kodi plays 4k well too.
