Only things that aren’t original are the wheels, black cobra letter inserts on back bumper, and aeroforce gauge all of which can be easily removed. I still have the original tires/wheels too. ;)
Original rims are nice, but the tires are probably lackluster today in terms of performance. Just don't throw a set of Nitto NT05's on them like every other 4th gen Mustang guy. :p

To drive around all day? Maserati Quattroporte, but ONLY the previous model, it looks much better than the newer one. They destroyed everything that made the Quattroporte beautiful with the newer modal, such a damned shame. They tried to fix was wasn't broken and they ****ed it all up. So, either that or the Mercedes SLS, both those look so damn good.
Classic? definitely the Citroën DS21, an absolutely fabulous car. Watch Jay Leno's Garage on this one.
On the track? Nissan Skyline GTR, or the original Honda NSX, Or the Lexus LFA UGH too many! Audi R8, yea, one of those 4. One thing I will say is that Ferraris with the exception of the F40 and the F60 Enzo are BORING.

Nice, That's what I upgraded to last year, after being a long time Mustang fanatic. Except I went with the fully loaded Daytona instead.  I sure do miss my mustang though.  But if I had to choose a favorite car, it would be a Nissan GTR. Perhaps I will purchase one next. Who knows?

Believe it or not, the automatics in the newer Mustangs feel pretty good. I rented a V6 a few years ago for a trip, and the paddle shifters almost felt like a dual-clutch instead of a standard slushbox. Power was immediate and didn't bog. No, you won't get the same feeling of climbing the gears the old fashioned way, but it may tempt you to forget the old days if you're in it for the speed and response.

I want to shift the gears myself the old fashioned way....I'm not adverse to what you describe, just not what I want. I'm thinking about taking my 2021 GT Premium to Rousch and have them add a supercharger to it....probably will
