I had received an email from amazon with a delivery date for the card ordered the 17th of September 3080 evga ftw3 gaming. I was supposed to receive it today however, two days after the email, delivery is cancelled today and no date of delivery again. Back to square one.
Any one in the same situation?

Looks like Amazon EU lied to us. They started taking new pre-orders for EVGA 3080's with a guaranteed delivery date of Nov 2. To my knowledge, none of those promised cards have been dispatched yet. The old Sept 17 orders that were also supposed to be delivered on Monday have also not been dispatched.
I'm guessing that they were supposed to receive a large shipment of EVGA cards which didn't come in.
I was supposed to received my ftw3 3080 today, back to no date of delivery :)

Yesterday, Alternate.de told my friend per phonecall that they await next week a batch of EVGAs. He ordered a BLACK like me. The employee suggested that BLACKs might be delivered but she is not sure (she had to say that because possible delays and s.o.).

6800XT. I just don't know which brand exactly. Last gen there was an issue with brands that took their Nvidia cooler and applied it to the AMD ones. Especially the Tuf. I'm thinking Sapphire because it's an AMD exclusive brand but I don't know anything about their warranty or customer support yet, I'll check that.
If there isn't issue with Nvidia brands cooler on AMD I might get an Asus or MSI but I'm afraid to again lose the waiting game if I'm waiting for reviews... Though if the AMD memo is a real one that would make more chances to buy one throughout the first 3 weeks (or after) period.
If by any chance EVGA really wake up and get us some stock before AMD I might get one. Otherwise I'll go with those who got stock. Especially since prices are messed up on Amazon now who started to inflate price so I'm not buying at 100€+ over MSRP.

Looking at this 4K FPS, it's a no brainer if the Radeons stay at normal prices and are available to buy more or less normally. Not sure if AMD enforces the prices for reference cards, like FE and some other ones for the 3070 i've seen on NBB for 499€ and maybe a 3080 for 699-720€ here in there.  *probably not on a 3700x and possibly using rage mode + SAM, but still...

I don't need two cards. Kept the only two orders that I managed to place on September 17th to take whichever card ships first after stock issues became evident. As soon as one of them shipped (today) I wrote on the forum so that other users that ordered on Amazon know that XC3 Ultra stock is starting move on Amazon.de, but "non-ultra" Gaming FTWs still seem to be a mystery, despite delivery estimates. That's what the tread seemed to be about.

Don't worry. I think many people are on edge about not having one, and cold written words can translate totally different depending on the mood. I understood that the XC3 was an insurance to have one until a better one. Also, if it wasn't for that, it could have been for a friend or a loved one, I saw multiple couples trying to know how the " 1 per household " was working in order to upgrade both their build with an EVGA card.
Anyway thanks for sharing ! Seems stock is slowly starting to roll here. Maybe AMD knocked Nvidia's head so hard that they woke up and understood they needed to give partners more chips and components to make more cards...
Considering how many people myself included are ready to switch to AMD they have to make a move before the 18 or they'll lose a lot. 3060Ti (rumored to launch before or around Nov 17th) isn't going to help anything regarding stock issues. If anything it might even give less production capacity for other already existing models.

I'll most likely go for a 6900XT from Sapphire. Sapphire is the way to go on AMD cards, the equivalent of EVGA for Nvidia. Well, not the equivalent in terms of fulfilling orders mind you :) I have an XC3 Ultra Gaming on order from CaseKing and if that doesn't show up until December 8th, I will most likely cancel the order, add 100 euros more and get the 6900XT. Or I could put the XC3 on an Ebay auction and see how much it sells for just for laughs :D

The only thing I'm worried about it if I want or " need " to watercool the card, from what I read : Sapphire customer support in EU is far far away from EVGA one and they don't really " support " disassembly of the cooler. Which would be better with another brand that have a " better " (better being relative to what you compare) than Sapphire. As far as I can tell, pros and cons, Sapphire gets best quality for AMD card but have restrictive warranty while other like MSI, Asus or Gigabyte might not void warranty instantly if sticker is void (but might if you tell them you watercooled though) but could have (way) worse quality cards for AMD, especially coolers not being properly adjusted for AMD cards (like I said, Tuf for last AMD gen). That's a dilemma haha Ps : I would suggest avoid auction as there was a bot increasing auction to prevent scalpers from selling theirs. So if the bot detect you it might inflate it to like 10k € or more and your experiment would be screwed. What I can tell you is that people already are ready (some at least) to pay double than the price, it's already 30% higher in retails so... :P

Hello everyone, i'm from Italy..
The situation here is really bad, i can't place an order, i have click on Notify for every 3080 EVGA, but EU doesn't have queue system so i'm really disappointed... No date, no preorder... it's ridicolous... I have trying to buy from amazon.it, amazon.de, amazon.fr, caseking also, but anyone have a news... How is possibile??????

Both my Sept 17 and October 29 orders have been changed to NO ETA. Back to the same old nonsense again.
EVGA, please reduce the number of cards being sent out to EU scalper sites and give Amazon a decent batch of cards.

AS Expected the XC3 Amazon Drop on Thursday was just a paper drop and instead of arriving today they told me it will be delivered when stock comes, according to chat dude in 3 days, but i wont believe that xD. But my NBB 3080FE finally got dispatched and will be delivered tomorrow, my 750w p2 also arrived today , so tomorrow is going to end this witch hunt for me!

Great you got a FE! The only RTX cards i'm interested in are the FE now (if i get a chance, will try a normal EU adress, not mailboxde, hope the ship to other EU countries too, if not Nvidia should expand the number of partners for Germany, i see Netherlands has a lot more of them, like alternate.nl but Germany doesn't have alternate.de lol), the 3070 might be worth those 499, the 3080 probably not anymore, maybe an EVGA 3070 with 62 EVGA bucks and an associate code might be a good price in the end if there's not 10k orders in the queue for 29/10... but i doubt anything will happen before Big Navi sales start, so i'm going to focus solely on getting a 6800XT for around 700€ or in worst case a 6800 for around 600€. No more chasing Nvidia cards, i just want 4K 60fps from games. Will probably also get a PS5 but that a whole other story, or is it with all the demand for it.

A little while ago, NBB was selling some FE's but they were not shipping them to Belgium/Netherlands, only Germany. They do it with other products but they are treating the 3xxx series differently... Also, there is a alternate.de but I don't think they sell FE's. I'd focus on AMD instead then. So far, I don't see any way for Belgium to get FE's apart from scalpers.

First of all I would like to apologize for an earlier rant due to my massive dissappointment regarding not getting a card while I had prepaid a deposit and applied for one to my retailer in Greece. I am happy to tell you that I have just received a phonecall that my 3080 ftw3 ultra has arrived.
I am very happy and grateful as we enter a phase 2 lockdown. At least with some happy news at hand.
