Miguell FTW Member Total Posts : 1112 Reward points : 0 Joined: 4/16/2008 Location: Portugal Status: offline Ribbons : 0 Saturday, July 19, 2014 10:55 PM (permalink) Hello everyone! i feel o noob asking this but.. what is this m.2 Port? never heard of it until now! i researched... and i know it is the successor of the mSata memories(?) that i can't understand either! i've seen pictures of some m.2 modules installed between the pci lanes.. i know they are some sort of memories chips perhaps? can i install windows on them intead of a regular ssd ou hdd? any advantage on installing a M.2 "mem" on my future to be Z97 mobo? thanks in advance!
