Doing a retro buy... Time for some vintage gaming fun. Apple IIgs  BMOW Floppy EMU. This thing emulates floppies and hd drives using disk images. Can have thousands of disks on an SD card.  IIgs rom battery mod. Gets rid of the soldered rom battery with a removable battery holder.  A Wombat USB to ABD adapter. Use your modern gaming keyboard and mouse on Apple II and Mac ADB ports.  Apple iigs RGB to SCART cable. The best option for those wanting a crisp video out of an Apple IIgs.  OSSC line doubler/tripler/quadrupler. SCART -> HDMI for crisp modern display use. Retro console gamers are the ones that typically use this, but they work great on retro computers too.  Later will most likely get a IIgs 8MB ram upgrade card and a pc gameport adapter.

ASUS Prime X299 Deluxe + an Intel i9 7960X that I just scored on "Offer Up" for $600. Didn't believe it was real but figured for that price I may as well give it a shot. Much to my surprise the seller contacted me back and showed up at the meeting place with the parts as described. I also just ordered a Phanteks P400A RGB case that I'm going to put it in

Nice, strong and stable, X99. I hear that X99 was so good that Intel need to cripple performance or people would refuse investment in Skylake-X. Hahahahaaaaaa... I joke, I would not left X99 except for EVGA X299 Dark and i9-9800X. I had opportunity to buy E5-2687W V3 for 500$. 10 cores, 3.10GHz- 3.5GHz... But I rather decide to wait new platform. Mine RVE10 support a E5-2687W both and V3 and V4 with 12 cores... But I decide to buy new CPU with 10 cores and higher frequency with new memory controller and PCI-E interface.
