 I Killed my First MB but was able to Buy a New One Today and it was the Last One In Stock.
So I am hoping that I did not Kill the CPU
Bill how did you kill the mb?
CPU Socket Pins when I removed the Water Block the CPU Lock Popped Up and then dropped back down and my seal caused the CPU to be bound to the CPU Socket Lock Plate.
100% on me, but the Lock System could have been better IMO.
The locking system from both lotes *and* foxconn suck monkey nuggets. It’s not limited to EVGA. Horrible design. All on Intel for their LGA design. I wish I had enough capital to build and market an alternative for high end boards. Destroyed *two* new boards because of this horrific pin on board design.
