Not likely, Man. Your SPP is at 1.45v, right? What are your idle temps looking like now? I'm hoping we can get you to 1800MHz because if your board reacts like mine, you won't be able to run 8GB's at 1700MHz. Just remember, IBT at Max hammers your CPU hard for a fairly short amount of time....nothing you do on your system such as browsing and gaming will hammer it that hard so, temps won't be jumping up so bad.

yes, spp is at 1.45. Idle temps are great. c1 between 31-40 c2 between 37-48. What i meant was, didnt we have to crank voltage pretty high in order to get it stable at 1700? Seemed like it took forever. So im just wondering what we would have to crank up to @ 1800. Im ready to try today though after my nap (worked overnight again) lol

Just tried 1800mhz settings, would not boot. Then upped SPP another notch higher to 1.50, booted fine. Passed memtest fine, then when i try to go into windows, it bsod's. What do you think? 8-8-8-22 on the memory.

Where art thou jeffrey. Need ur suggestions before i try anything else.

Start taking your CPU core voltage back up, Man....1 setting at a time. Just stay out of the "red" numbers and it will be fine. Also double-check that you have CPU Thermal Control in the BIOS set to Enabled for TM1 and TM2. This is the CPU's built-in heat protection...it will throttle-down the chip if it starts getting too hot.

Thank you kind Sir. I am glad everything worked out well for Daniel...and he learned alot in the process. Hopefully he will be able to use that knowledge and help out someone else sometime.
