nomossI was shocked how cheap the warranty was on the 3080Ti and 3090. Given the cost of doing business in the 20s, I'd say its about time.
Fynn1434If we just purchased a product in December but hadn't yet added the extended warranty (because I thought I had 90 days!) are we stuck with the higher prices?
VEVEAUCENTI'm very disappointed not in this change, but in the way it was implemented. I fully support EVGA pricing their extended warranty model in a way that makes financial sense. What I don't support is they way they implemented this change quietly with no notice given beforehand. I chose EVGA over other brands because I intend to use this build for a very long time and I wanted to put a 10 year warranty on it. Due to holiday business in general I didn't get a chance to do so until today where the options are now only 7 years and are far more expensive. I wish they would have at least grandfathered the pricing for cards purchased before January 1st as that pricing was taken into consideration at the time of purchase. I see no real reason to go EVGA next time around as the one thing that made them stand out from the crowd is no longer there.
Extended WarrantyEVGA reserves the right to change the terms of the Extended Warranty program at any time without notice. EVGA reserves the right to cancel the Extended Warranty program at any time and for any reason. VOID where prohibited.
zippytekso *prices have gone up* but also *the extended warranty will not transfer to a second-hand owner.*

cyberstrazI have 59 days left to extend my warranty - for 10 years, or so I thought. I even had a screenshot of the page to reference in my to-do list with pricing, etc....but work got crazy around xmas time... I figured knowing I had a 90 day time window, that if I pushed off the extended warranty purchase to wait a few paychecks it wouldn't matter. I feel bamboozled. Had I known about the price and term changes, obviously I would have purchased immediately. The small portion of customers who fall into this window (probably just those who popped in queue like I luckily did) are being unfairly penalized by this change. I think evga support is spectacular and know they stand by their products .. I've been a customer for over a decade..really hoping customer service reconsiders allowing people within the 90 day window to get in on the previous terms.I'd rather not start the new year off with a bitter taste like this.Cheers and happy new year,
