Just noticed your computer specs, How are you liking that 6700k for gaming if you're using it for that still? Whens the next upgrade? Asking because I'm using it and feeling a slight lag with CoD:MW, with a 2080 super. @rain2_usa
6700k has served me quite well and still plays everything in my Steam library with no issues (thanks to the 2070 Super). Only problem going forward is you can't enable certain features in windows 10 (HDR for one) and if you wanted to play 4K Blu Rays at any point, you'll never be able to due to the microcode required to actually play them (minor feature loss for most, but still a loss). For all else, it seems like it'll hold up well but I haven't checked to see if it's actually bottlenecking the 2070 super in any form (very possible as my 3D Mark scores across the board seems to be low with those with 2070 Supers). I am actually planning my next upgrade now surrounding the 3080 FTW. Just waiting for AMD to show what they have and then make a final decision there. Hope that gives you some insight from my experience.

I THINK I'm step 1? I bought my 2080 Super last week. Received, installed, and registered it on Monday. I uploaded my invoice yesterday and registered/applied for the Step Up right after. So, entered the Step-Up queue as of yesterday around 9am CST. So I guess you can add me to this list?

Step 2 is them reviewing your invoice from what I understand. Once you get to step 2 the process will go a lot faster from there.

If you check your Step Up status in your My products page-->View Details and see "In Queue", then you are in Step 1.

I think they said they typically allocate half of cards they get in for retail on the eVGA site to Step-Up when the queue is large, so it should progress the queue quite a bit (if what has been said about AIBs getting a fair bit in to the triple digits per shipment is accurate).
I will be submitting mine tomorrow as soon as my 2070 Super Hybrid arrives... looking forward to playing around with that card in the interim, I skipped the 20-series because it didn't offer much progress over my 1080 Ti (unless I wanted to shell out for a 2080 Ti), but I've seen 2070 Supers can be pretty impressive for what they are. Getting it with a $50 off coupon direct from Newegg helped too :-D

I've never seen them saying "half", they said they allocate "some". Going by the step 2's in OP, in average they're doing 3-5 step ups a week....may take a while bois.... Lets prepare for the worst, hope for the best....
