Can someone give a quick overview for what each step is?
Like Step 1 is confirmation you're in queue. But does anyone know what all 5 are? Since i uploaded my invoice back on 9/2 i dont know if i technically am going to step 2 still or maybe step 3? This is my first time doing the step up and am definitely making this an amateur hour lol.

Based upon other posts here:
With Step 2 they review the invoice you've submitted to confirm the prices etc.
Step 3 would be payment and you shipping out the card.
Step 4 would be reviewing the received card
Step 5 would be them shipping out the new card

Definitely makes sense. I suppose since I already submitted the invoice when i registered and got the extended warranty, I theoretically should be waiting for Step 3? Idk if that is a fair assumption.
I appreciate you putting it out there like that though.

Good idea/bad idea:  publish a Google Sheets version of this that tracks steps by user?  Format the cells for date (or date/time) to make data entry easier as the feedback comes in (enter the value and let Google convert it)...
 
...and make it read-only for the community, of course.  I know the tracking is a bit of work, but since you're doing it already...unless the intent was to only track Step 2, in which case I'll shut up now.

Got step 3- (Paid) and step 4 verify address now- Just waiting for RMA number! Should be coming in 1-2 days per email. 

Exciting times! I'm 24 hours ahead so here's hoping. Been reading 2080ti launch step ups and people was waiting 6-10 months :(

I've been thinking about doing that so people can self report. As rain2 noted, we haven't been tracking beyond step 2. The other steps contain variables out of EVGAs control eg: when the customer ships card back/shipping location/shipping speed/weekend etc.

Self Update would be cool.  Seems like most, if not all, of us would update responsibly.  
As for the main list right now, I don't think it's really necessary to keep track of Step 2's Time.  Should make it easier for you to update.  Time is only important for Step 1 on the first couple of days, IMO.

Updated Step 2 times are huge for me as i've been heavily monitoring the proportional amount of time it takes for it to slowly make it's way through the first hour of users. I can deduct that based on 9:18 bracket getting into step 2 today, my time of 9:23 is very likely within the next couple days. This can be useful for at least the launch day folk.


What does Step 2's Time actually have to do with your calculations?  If 4 people got into Step 2 today and they covered, say, 9:18am from Step 1, then that should be all the data you need, right?  What will Step 2 e-mail at 9:50am or Step 2 e-mail at 4pm do for you?  Maybe I'm missing something.

You're missing the point, it's not so people can see who got what after you.. It's to see who got it BEFORE YOU. This allows you to see the pace EVGA is sending out Step 2 emails. It's moving slower than you think. About 1-2 minutes per 2-3 days. I haven't been pulling my hair out because I know that I wasn't going to be getting it last week. But now that I see people getting step 2 emails at 9:18, I know i'll be up soon. Working flawlessly. For all I know it could have taken 60 days to get to step 2.
 
Also not to mention everybody who got in early got instant step 1 emails so that's useless for us to help track our progress.

Man, 12 days in, still barely out of the first few minutes.

I received my Step 1 email on 09/17 at 7:20 PST (10:20 EST). Still waiting for Step 2.

Got my step one email at 9:21am EST launch day and waiting on step two.
