How is the American queue doing for the 3080? Have you guys moved since this year?
Our queue in Europe hasn't moved since 2021  I am stuck in the queue (5 months next week) because retail prices in Europe are the same as scalpers already and have lost the window to find reasonably priced GPUs elsewere lol. 3070s run for 700-1K Eur, 3080s 1.2K-1.5K, and 3090s 2.2K up.
The queue hasn't moved for about 2 weeks now. NA is still on Day 1 of step ups. I am on Day 1 and got in queue at around 4:45PM PST.
2021 is the year of the online scalper. They are even seeping into McDonald's toys with the new Pokemon cards released in the Happy Meal.
Nothing new when it comes to collectable's. I remember the same runs on McDonald toys 22 years ago for Teenie Beanie Babies.

Some other company needs to step in the mix and take NVIDIA and AMD to task. They simply aren't meeting what the market demands and seem completely incompetent at being able to ramp up the supply.
There is no way to ramp up supply. It's all manufactured by TSMC or Samsung and economy of scale limits anyone else from entering the market. They are also competing with chips being made for EVERYTHING. Read an article the other day about how Ford has has to cut production by 20% because they can't get enough chips from TSMC. TSMC did just raise $9 billion for an expansion into Japan though, so that is some good news.

Since February then. We are on Sept 19th around 8pm in the EU queue. It was moving at an acceptable pace (6 months for Turing) until the end of 2020. I am Sept 20th 2:39am 6 hrs out from the last EU customer served. The next guy 6 mins out on the forums is still waiting. I am just hoping we don't hit April 16th before the price increase (fat chance most likely now lol). March would be 6 months equal to Turing queues. Stupid miners using GPUs when they should have Asic miners ugh...

I'm not in that spreadsheet at the front, but I just got my step 2 notification at 11:40am eastern time. Step 1 was 9/17 at approx. 4:20pm central.
So it appears that they are moving, and people have forgotten to update the spreadsheet. Or I just got lucky.

I just got my step 2 notification for my step up from 2070 Super XC3 to 3080 FTW3. I think I signed up on Sept 17th but I am not 100% sure. Hoping to get past to the next step soon!

Well don't feel too bad cause he is like me that we were able to get 3070s to use until it's our turn for the 3080. I feel for those that bought earlier models. The 3070 is decent, but I really wanted the 3080. I didn't want to wait 4-5 months to get one which is why I went with the 3070 FTW3 Ultra.

I would email EVGA first. You can change you address in your profile, but it would be best to confirm it with them prior to making any changes.

A. EVGA is seriously trying to fill step up orders.
B. Supply from NVIDIA will get any better for the rest of the year.
More than likely a lot of us are looking at sometime early next year at this rate. Which is only made more annoying by the fact that crypto miners don't seem to be having the same issues getting cards the rest of us are having (even if they *are* probably paying a premium for them, it at least shows stock is available, just going to scalpers)
Frustrating, and a lot of it isn't EVGAs fault either.

Agreed. I don't know of any other companies with a queue or step up. It's a rough situation and I get how frustrating it is, but I don't think any other company has done as much to try to make things fair as EVGA. That doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement, or issues, but it's a lot better than what some other AIBs are doing.

Post what you find out, I have a friend in the same boat.
So I’m in the same boat except going to be moving out of the country. The step-up FAQ’s I think mention that you can change your address without exiting the queue. You just have to make the change in your profile before you send your card back to EVGA. They’ll send your step-up to whatever address is confirmed in your profile. It’s when you want to change shipping methods (overnight vs ground) that you need to exit the queue and start again if you’re still eligible.

So the posts here showing they received next step that went into the queue on 9/17/20 have me a little on edge.. my email confirmation is timestamped at 4:47pm on 9/17/20. I should add myself to the spreadsheet but if I remember right, there was only one step up option for the 3080 series, which is the 3080 ftw3 ultra, right? I've been checking every day now, even over the weekend 😅 knowing my luck, some bug will skip me. Invoice is properly uploaded so there shouldn't be any issue. The step up community data is both a blessing and a curse. Edit: I just realized my time is pacific and those times were probably converted to eastern. Do I guess it would be 7:47pm edt when I received my step 1 confirmation.
