Hi all, I've had no luck keeping my video configuration settings after boot on my Linux install. Is there something I'm missing to make my settings persistent, or do I need to reset them every time I reboot my machine? Saving my xorg isn't working.

Thanks!

Are you opening the NVIDIA settings as root? I'm not entirely sure what program you are using to change the settings as there are a few out there but you might need to open a terminal and run "sudo program-name" to have it open and make the changes persistent.

I'm running nvidia-settings (md5 44c1eeb1be06bb09a41b0b5e96fa6b22). I've attempted to run as a normal user and save my Xorg config (which prompts for sudo credentials). I've attempted to run as root (which sensibly doesn't prompt). I've tried saving the generated xorg.conf file as /etc/X11/Xsession.d/20-nvidia.conf with all the same permissions as every other file in that folder. None of them work.
