Ubisoft's The Settlers has been delayed until 2020

Ubisoft has confirmed that The Settlers has been delayed until 2020, missing its original release target of Fall 2019. Ubisoft's The Settlers is a reimagining fo the original The Settlers series, with the first game in the series launching in 1993, while its most recent edition, The Settlers 7: Paths to a Kingdom, released in 2010.  

In 2020, Ubisoft plans to bring the series back from the depths of obscurity, with developer Blue Bytes leading the charge. Blue Bytes is the German studio that developed most of The Settlers' previous iterations. In recent history, Blue Bytes is better known for the Anno series of strategy games. 
 
The Settlers is due to release on PC sometime in 2020 on both Uplay and the Epic Games Store. Hopefully the extra wait time will be worth it

    If the extra time isn't worth it guess we will have to settler for what's released.

    This makes sense because Anno 1800 was released this year.
