I got an APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA 6 years ago. Battery died completely, and now, one by one, go the plugs. I went to by a new UPS and, it seems to me, the UPS market made zero advance in the last 6 years. APC Back-UPS Pro 1500VA is still the top seller. Is that true or am I missing something?

My past APC back ups didn't last long. So I went with CyberPower, and this thing has been going great for at least 5 or 6 years now.

+1.  Been using a number of these on different systems since the 90's.  All I've had to do is replace the battery every 5 yrs or so...

I have a couple of these units.  The one on my main system I've been using since 2009. > https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16842102048

ther are a few lithium battery units out there but are quite costly, other than that a battery backup does what it does and not much more room for improvement

Ordered myself Cyper Power CP1500PFC! I have a lot of power-consuming stuff so I went for a more powerful model. Thanks for advice!

I have a cyberpower UPS for my network.
Its just a small little baby, buys me about 1.5 hours of wifi if the power goes out.
