https://phonemantra.com/the-first-image-of-the-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-graphics-card/

The first schematic image of the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 video card was published on the Slashleaks website, noting that the leak did not take place without the participation of an employee of TSMC.

Nvidia’s flagship graphics card received a long base and as many as three coolers, which should provide decent cooling.

Previously, it was reported that the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics card will be based on the GA100 GPU, containing up to 8192 CUDA cores. In addition, slipped information about 256 RT cores, 1024 tensor cores, and a frequency of up to 1750 MHz. As for the GeForce RTX 3080, it should have less than 4608 CUDA cores, less than 144 RT cores, and less than 576 tensor cores, with a core frequency of fewer than 2000 MHz.

In my opinion this might also be an engineering sample.

I still think it's an engineering sample

That is one long card.  Engineering sample or not, you can land a plane on it.

I agree that based on the end of the PCI-E slot that would be a very huge card. Also with nothing saying what it is I kind of wonder if it was NVIDIA. If this was posted as "First image of the AMD next generation GPU" I would think it could be that based on that image above.

Does TSMC make coolers now? No? Still making Silicon? Then why is there a TSMC stamp on the picture bottom right? Because it’s fake.

That is going to need a  bracket at the end...to prevent sag.  How many systems will it NOT fit into.  Have my doubts

Would an engineering sample have such a "photogenic" picture taken of it?

besides that it's pretty low on the photoshop quality list, like, if by some chance it was real, you could make a fake pic that looked more realistic than the real one.

I wouldn't expect anything for another 2 months, then you might get leaks with a have decent chance of having real info

The only leak I might believe is quadro cards, as I could see those showing up before Titan and Geforce.

Has anyone read this article? RJ should update the title to say ClickBait. I am guessing he didn’t read the full article and just stopped where it was convenient.

RJ, please start labeling posts “News” “Rumor” “ClickBait” or “Spam” so we know which things actually belong in the Computer Industry NEWS section. Because this doesn’t belong.

The cooler will be different on the next generation GPU. NVidia has done pretty hefty redesigns each generation. This generation will be no different, so if the pictures come out showing a reused design, it most likely fake... as usual.

I still think this is an early engineering sample. I remember engineering samples of the RTX 2080 being bigger than the final release,

I read a similar article that had the same exact picture , but it specifically said this was NOT a real pic of the new 3080.... and went about debunking it.
