Broken ankle? Maybe. His foot hit that wall and stopped pretty suddenly as his body continued quickly toward the ground. But I doubt it is a serious injury as he got up and walked right away.
Sometimes it takes that to learn a lesson.

When I was in Public School, I was bigger than everyone. For some reason I got picked on by by a pack of kids. Finally after a few years of harassment I snapped on the ringleader and made him cry. Didn't hurt him or punch him, just knocked him down, knelled over him and swore if he or any other of his buddies bugged me I would do terrible terrible things to him. That finally stopped it.
Than in highschool the same thing happened with a new group of kids. One night they called me at my place of work and started harassing me there. That was it and I went and found the little mouth of the group and beat him to a pulp.
He never bothered ANYONE again.
Moral of the story? People need to stand up to aggressors. The teachers in both schools knew exactly what was going on and who was in involved and did nothing. It was only when I stood up for myself did the problem(s) stop. The most hilarious part was that they tried to charge me with assault. What a crock that was.
I really detest the way that cops have been pushed into the school yard. Kids need to be able to settle things on their own terms. Obviously, if things get more out of hand than a fistfight something needs to be done but I find it is the inability for kids to be able to police themselves that usually ends up escalating something a fist fight would resolve into a stabbing or shooting. You take away a person's ability to stand up for themselves and they get bitter, frustrated and angry.

Ya I had to deal with bulling for a long time in school. A few things I ended myself but I did have in freshmen year something I couldn't. I had a freshmen, sophomore and junior (BIG KID keep in mind I am pretty small) picking on me. When I came home with a huge bruise on my arm my mom forced me to bring it to the school. I dunno what they did as far a discipline but I do remember them asking if I wanted to press charges. I of course said no and I would hate to think what some kids would probably press charges over. Sure if he knocks you out and just continues to beat the pulp out of you when you did nothing I can provoke it I can understand but let's face it I highly doubt that is the case most of the time.
Also not being able to fight back has bugged me from day one and thankfully wasn't an issue because I was told from the second grade, as long as I didn't start the fight I would have back up and wouldn't be punished at home if I defended myself.

There was a kid back when I was in elementary school who used to take my lunch just to pillage my dessert. My mom would always put a oreo cookies in a ziploc bag. One day I opened those oreos up put a couple of squirts of tabasco on those cookies and sealed them back to together. Lets just say that kid went crying off to the bathroom. I took a beating for it later, but I just smiled and told that kid if he thought that was the worse I could do to him, just to wait. I could come up with more terrible stuff to get back at him. Think that shook him up even more.
