Wow, yeah I almost ended up with a Tarantula until I scored that McIntosh. Those things were works of art. I miss those days too. Most of those high end brands no-one has ever heard of anymore.

My kicker CV's went strong for over 2 years.
I tried some brand I never heard of, "Concept" They were definitely louder than my CV's, But they only lasted about 3 months before they gave out.
Anyone heard of this brand? =P

Nope. I have tried a few off name brands with the same results. They blew within a week for me. That's when I I got my Kicker CVR's. I have had those now for over 2 years.

Ive had good luck with my sundown stuff. My last set of sa12s were rated at 600rms and I pushed 1500 through em. Never even broke a sweat. Only sold them to jump to the monster nightshade.
oh and lol @ the RFL. I remember when that thing came out. Monster motor, suspension to stiff for practical use.

That was the point of the RFL. Supposed to throw tons of power at it. I think most of my friends had the wrong idea about SPL. Voltage > Current.

They look like the older version. The new one handles more power and is very much better (newer being 2005 or so iirc, Alpine switch the Type-R closer to the Type-X)

Nothing crazy for me. Would someone suggest a head unit for my 96" Volvo 850 GLX Wagon? Wanting to get caller ID, aka bluetooth from my phone to the head unit, I havent bought a stereo in years. Just stock speakers, sounds great what ever stock speakers Volvo uses. Wanting: Budget $100-$200 Caller ID through Bluetooth and music snyc from phone through Bluetooth (Android phone) Some kind of EQ control, trebile, 4way speaker fade control. KS

They were special ordered Dual 2 Ohm 15" subs. I still have them. Along with tons of other stuff. I swear one day I am going to get back into that.

In Europe both are called Fairlady, I think, but it is a 300 ZX TT build in 1990. I'm a member of the German 300zxtt community since many years and many of us have such cars in really great shape.

I still have my Termpro set. Makes me shiver remember how much I spent on it. close to a grand I think.
I remember so many nights bringing my car into the garage and shaking the house doing resonant frequency testing. My folks used to get sooo pissed so I always did it when they weren't home. Used to shake items off the shelves 2 floors up. I feel like 62Hz was my magic number.
