Created by Ben Bowlby (former Lola design chief, former Ganassi Racing tech director), the DeltaWing was one of several proposed 2012 IndyCar chassis. The shape generates downforce without wings or spoilers and is supposed to be immune to turbulence in close quarters. Unveiled at Chicago, it was serious enough to have the support of Roger Penske and Chip Ganassi, but a modular Dallara design ultimately won IndyCar’s affections.

0-60 from the factory is 4.5 seconds... I guaranty you that with the aftermarket items I have mounted, and the computer change... This will eat that for lunch....

Easiest way to say it. Someone is always faster. But this makes ryding fast enough to be seriously dangerous, but not fast enough to be the fastest. I have a video from my Go Pro mounted on it... Let's just say that the Hayabusa never left me... Pulled away at first... Then we stayed the same distance (I kept catching him in the turns)  We stopped... He is huffing and puffing and says "Man I cannot get you out of my mirror no matter how hard I go"

Wow thats fast. I have been thinking about getting a new toy and I am just hesitant to get a bike because I haven't seen enough in my life to die! Adding more tire surface area I am sure makes this thing safer than a bike. I really like your color choice btw.

Back on topic:

I got to drive on of these babies the other day.

Just about soiled myself when I hit the throttle. I am usually all for manual transmissions, but this new transmission that Porsche has is ridiculously fast. Car and Driver has the 0-60 @ 2.9 while Porsche has it advertised at 3.1! The one I drove had the aero kit on it so it looked slightly different. Can't locate any pictures of a 2011 Turbo S with an aero kit in black, but here is on in white: http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/997-turbo-forum/395708-pics-official-porsche-997-turbo-aerokit.html.

See thats what I like about being a BMW/MBenz Tech. I get to drive all those cars, and not have to buy them. And yes, if you drive the newer M5's and don't fall in love with it there is something wrong.
