Sorry, I couldn't find a "delete" button after I realized he meant the kit and not the full Titan-X Hybrid. I guess if you get a kit you can get an backplate separately since the buyer might have a backplate already.

If I had know the Titan X Hybrid was coming out today I would've been hovering on the website all day until it released. Sadly I just found out about it. And since I can't wait anymore I'm just gonna buy the kit and slap it on a reference Titan X.

are there any numbers of temps between the various different cooling methods? I'd like to see reference v ACX v Hybrid v HC and see how they all compare.

I see it showing 85c with reference, vs 50c with hybrid cooler on the announcement page linked in the first post, wondering about temps with ACX and Hydro-copper, be nice to have a chart with all 4.

70c was quoted for the ACX

That's most elegant shroud on market at the moment.
I like him and on GTX980 cards when EVGA present first.
TITAN X Hybrid is beast, 150MHz overclocked and look as beast.

This turbine now is completely black in comparison with normal TITAN X.
Anyway customers could choose.
They could buy reference and install ACX 2.0 cooler, or install Hybrid cooler, or Hydro Copper or to buy installed.
If someone want to buy Hybrid cooler I think it's much better to buy TITAN X Hybrid immediately.
Because fabric BIOS with 150MHz higher clock. Maybe for someone who want to pump tone of voltage that clock not look extremely high but for gamers that's more than enough. Many people with TITAN X 1000MHz will have crash on so high clock.
Result difference in benchmarks I would like to see, but it's probably big difference.

Hi,
You do realize the shroud faces down right :)
Too may people are ocd about looks under color lighting I'm sure Titan x hybrid will blend in well with my ASUS Sabertooth X99 :)
I'm only hoping performance is good and reliability is great and of course support is also great from evga incase a leak happens
Cheers.

Re: TITANX HYBRID! 2015/05/30 05:55:56 (permalink)
This card is best investment for people who upgrade hardware every 3 years example and don't want to change nothing in mean time.
X99 + TITAN X Hybrid. They don't need to think about overheating, video memory limitation, GPU power, nothing...
Only to clean dust every few months from radiator and nothing else.

This year EVGA offer excellent option in comparison with competition in premium segment.
They have four difference cooling types for TITAN X under warranty and backplate.
Reference, ACX 2.0 baseplate+ backplate, Hybrid, HydroCopper and higher clock, 130-150MHz...

That always happen with good stuff, special from EVGA because in some part of the worlds people could not find in local store and their options are limited. To be honest 1200e only for reference TITAN X and you are aware that other brand offer and better option...
it would be enough for me to ask some questions and why others not offer such good options, better cooling in warranty, higher clock or simply to chase for EVGA hardware strictly.

EVGA Europe will get this cooler for max one month but maybe even before that.
Advantage of TITAN X Hybrid are higher clock 150MHz and backplate.
If you buy card and cooler together.
Depend how many full GM200 NVIDIA prepare. They will sell all of them, without doubt.

And I just literally got my ACX coolers yesterday. Damnit...

Just a two quick questions though, how long are the hoses, and can the fan on the radiator be replaced?

I believe it has been said the hoses are approximately 14" long :)

I won't find out for sure till Wednesday or Thursday exactly how long.

Just got my two AIO kits installed on my reference Nvidia Titan X cards. Seriously amazing improvement. Overclocked (1450/8000/+112mV) temperatures on both cards max out at 57C after an hour looping Unigine Heaven at max settings and 4k resolution. And best of all, dead silent. They were soooooooooooo unbearably loud with the stock cooler.

My kits did NOT come with the backplate, by the way. Looks like you'll need to get that separately (I got mine a few weeks ago).

My only complaint with this kit is that it's a plastic shroud instead of a metal one... one of my shrouds already got scratched up pretty bad just from rubbing against the sound card below it when I installed it.

Just joshing. I like mine too much. I'm considering getting a cooler. Not sure if I should go with this or the ACX 2.0

Is there any pump buzzing noise?i used 980 hybrid cooler but there was buzzing pump noise so i had to change to h75 by modding it. With h75 there is no pump noise. With all the fans on 700 rpm finally i pc is deadly silence.

I hope that evga use better pump on next line up.

I test 4 evga 980 hybrid and all of them had buzzing pump noise that can be audiable. I am very senstive on noise btw.

Will this be available directly through EU-evga store? The 980 hybrid cooler has "where to buy" and lists a ton of stores which doesnt even sell it.
Couldn't care less if it says 980 or titan x on the shroud, just hoping one of them will be available soon.

Totally dumb question, but is there any lighting on top?

Sorry no lighting.

For EU store should be up next week sorry for delay.

Is there any plans to release the 980 and/or Titan X hybrid cards in Australia or should I just stop waiting?

I meant the AIO kit, not the whole card...I've debated back and forth about returning my Titan X for a pair of 980 Ti but I'd lose the money I spent on the extended warranty/advanced RMA things ($100 combined!) - if I could get a refund for that I'd probably do it.  Part of me also thinks staying with the X is a good idea because of the resolution I play at (3440x1440) - I know games can't use the 12GB now, but I feel like running stuff on that resolution in the next year or two might get to where 6GB could be a limiting factor at the high end.

I don't know.  I think if EVGA would refund/transfer my warranty and RMA stuff I'd be driving to Microcenter to return the X tonight.
