Not trying to get all mushy here, I just would like for you guys to know I never thought I would be one of those people who stay in the forums. I was wrong, I really started getting into this about a week or so ago. You guys make this stuff freakn awsome! I would like to thank you guys, I have finally found people I can can chat with that knows what I am talking about, instead of going "oh yea that is cool" knowing they didn't have an idea of anything you showed them! So guys what are the thoughts on 3x1L vs 3x1P? I've always thought 3x1P would be more fun.
3x1P is essentially just a slight step up from single 30" 2560x1600 resolution. It behaves like a regular aspect ratio setup. It's just a lot of pixels and no FOV advantage. In some cases it is preferable though -- especially in games that do not like triple-screen. I have no overall preference between 3x1L and 3x1P, but for specific games it's clear which configuration the games work better in on a case by case basis. Global Agenda is a definite 3x1P game for example.

Yes it can, The OP says "Nvidia Surround" and you will see that the majorty of people here are using Nvidia cards. All you need to do is be in SLI and ave 3 screens. I have not used it myself but i know others can anwser the question better than me. 2 570's should be able to do it just fine.

Ill have to post pics up in a few weeks. Currently building my rig. Have only one monitor, but gonna have a huge for sale soon and hopefulle be able to pic up the other 2 from that. I'm working up a 5x1L Eyefinity projection system at the moment. Going to use two Optoma GT720 and three Optoma EX525ST. 5x1 L actually works on 10.12a drivers. Only thing it is good for is MSFS FSX though. Anything over 180 degrees is pretty much useless for regular gaming unless I turn off a few projectors.
