Hello,
What is the difference between the EVGA Standalone Precision X1 vs the Steam Version?
I didn't see any explanation on the site about the two version difference.
Many thanks.

They both EVGA software are the complete same no different but for Standalone mean it will run without Steam or if you download EVGA Precision from Steam if you want to open EVGA Precision then you need open Steam first to run EVGA Precision!
If for me I would download Standalone!!

I always like getting software directly from source when I can, I would recommend just getting it from EVGA.

Essentially, the programs are the same.  No difference.  The Steam version does allow you to earn achievements, though....

If you're interested in the Precision X1 Steam Achievements for some reason, use the Steam version..That's the numero uno diff.

Ironically I prefer the steam version, it auto-updates itself and it doesn't leave random files laying around when uninstalled.

Had issues in the past with having to browse into Appdata to manually nuke files despite uninstalling the standalone app due to crashing-at-launch problems the files were triggering.
