I've just read that the EU 3060 queue will start Monday. Good luck EU folks. Hope it's a good size.

Great to hear! Out of curiosity, where did you read this?

How long did it take for other cards to get past the first 2 minutes mark?

I don't think you can compare the previous cards. From the sheet it looks like there were maybe 5 cards for various types available. There's 55 people on the sheet before you even hit the 2 minute mark. And those are only the one's who signed up. Apart from that, shipping from Taiwan, tax and duties would put this card close to 500 euro's when delivered. That's better than most but still steep.

I see, I just wonder if it'll get to the 2 minute mark within the first week. I'm at 2 minutes 17 seconds.

According to the discord chat our queue wasn't reachable until 9:00:30, but that is anecdotal, I am at 42 seconds and I know at least 2 people in front of me, both of them after 30 seconds. Just an FYI, you are a bit closer than 2 minutes.

Hes saying since nobody seemed to have got in before 30 seconds, you can subtract that 30 seconds from the time you got in. Tbh it doesnt really matter as your time is only relative to others in the queue

Oh that's true, I was there at 9:00:00 but it wasn't working. I got in as soon as I could load the website and that was just past two minutes.

The Americans seem to have gotten past 6 minutes in the first two days, but then again they're being given priority, so it's hard to guess how it'll be for us.

Does anyone know the situation with “extra” payments required after purchasing in EU? Can I assume that the absolute total I will pay is the online price + 21% VAT + delivery fee? I’ve seen some threads where EU buyers are being contacted by DHL afterwards to pay further charges? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

On launch day I somehow got to a check out page for the 3060 and after 20% VAT and shipping to UK it said it would cost ~£370

Thanks you - very helpful :-)

I suppose my question is also - should that (£370 in your case) be the absolute final price for the card? Can we expect that your countries local customs department/delivery courier can hit you with ANOTHER charge?

That might have been my thread. DHL will contact you to fill out a customs document once the card enters your country. Since EVGA will have already paid for everything, this process will not cause any additional charges.

Brilliant - thank you!

I assume then the total you paid at EVGA EU checkout was price on site + country-specific VAT + delivery? Also did you have to “argue the case” with DHL in terms of the payments they may try to charge? Sorry about all of the questions I’m just figuring out where I stand if I actually get a notification!

I wouldn't be so sure about that. It seemed to me that the VAT paid was Taiwanese VAT. I was on the same checkout page and it clearly stated that local taxes etc. etc. are not EVGA's responsibility. In the EU if total is around 400 euro's you would have to pay additional 21% VAT on the whole price and the shipper will add handling and customs charges. I think there's no import tax on electronic spare parts (over 150 euro you would also have to pay import tax). My guess is that total cost would be close to 500 euro.

Actually, on looking into the matter it seems that EVGA actually does include the VAT. On the airway bill it should state DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) and prepaid import tax. DHL sometimes overlooks this and charges anyway. I think the confusion comes from these mistakes. So I'm inclined to change my opinion and think that taxes are included.

This is how it was calculated with 16% VAT in Germany back then. The price at the top was what was listed on the site.

No arguing with DHL required regarding costs. I just filed the document online. Only problem was that the customs process took way too long. Had to call them twice until I finally held my GPU in my hands - took 4 weeks. I think you can submit the customs document before they contact you. You only need the invoice and the shipment tracking number. This would have safed me the week it took them to contact me. The form for Germany can be found .

Btw if you use de.evga.com then you might see $ signs on your invoice even though they meant €. Don't let that confuse you.

23% VAT here in Poland so €417+shipping cost. That's how much used, out of warranty GTXs 1070Ti sell for right now in here, so can't complain at all. There was only one online store that sold 3060 at MSRP and they were all gone in seconds, now the prices are +2x MSRP. If I get a chance to buy one next week I'll be super happy - 9:01:35

We are in the queue at about 45th place. I think that we will receive video cards next year, because about 20 pieces from the 30 series were sent to Europe. I got information from the link in the first message.

Sorry, I don't speak English and I use google translate

20k on the list think if EVGA started filling those orders they could make a ton of money.

That has nothing to do with the number of cards available
