EU has definitely been getting the short end of the stick with the quantities. I'm not sure why EVGA has chosen to provide so little. They claim to be the number one seller in the UK. But I just don't see the numbers to believe it.

Getting a GPU in the UK/EU has been an absolute nightmare - those of us in the EU can't avail of UK retailers, and those in the UK can't avail of EU retailers any more (due to Brexit & Customs Import Fees).
 
I really picked an awful time to build a PC, especially considering all I need is the GPU (as mistake to get this last, I know ).. even seeing the steady increase in prices from retailers is extremely frustrating - 3070s are stocking in the EU occasionally for ~€1,200 and selling out still

its actually worse since DE shops wont ship outside of germany/belgium/NE, spain shops wont ships outside of spain and french shops wont ship outside of france, at least the majority.
it leaves out Amazon and Ebay with scalpers price.
then theres the uk with brexit and their only ireland/uk shipment policy.
 
theres no newegg shuffle nor microcenter to phisically check neither, basically in the EU its even more of a **** show.
 
evga queue is also super slow compared to NA.

@jpfoster I received the notification for another model of the RTX 3070 after I bought the cheapest model via the notification already. So it doesn't seem to negatively affect you.

Any Black models go out today?  Trying to decide if I should get the 3657 or not, my queue also just popped.  I'd be willing to wait a couple weeks.

Huh. I just got my email from EVGA saying they had a 12G-P5-3657-KR waiting for me if I wanted it.
 
Is it the card I'd originally hoped for? Not by a long shot. The original plan was for a proper upgrade over my 1080, which would then get passed down to the kids'/VR machine that's helped with our sanity over the last year while leaving my PC available for me to work from home. I originally aimed for a 3080, then a 3060 Ti. However, I'm so far down on the lists for those that I don't reckon I'm getting one any time soon.
 
In comparison, this is available now, and the VR machine is running a borrowed 1060 3GB, so even a 3060 will be a meaningful jump, roughly a doubling of performance. That'll open pretty much everything in VR in situ, rather than forcing me to drag down my PC every time I want to play something a little more demanding. It's less than I wanted at a higher price than it should be, but that's the way things are, so it's on order.
 
We'll see what happens, but if my number comes up on the second card, I may end up snagging it for my machine at work, which is currently runs a 660. That would allow me to start playing with a bunch more CUDA stuff without having to break the bank.
 
@bradsour: thank you for the early notification links. They worked far better yesterday morning than trying to get to the product pages. I plugged your associate code in at checkout, so you should get your 3% or whatever.

You just go back to the form and choose edit data.
 
Also when you get your 3060 register it so that you can then join the step up queue and step up to the card that you really want to have. At least you have something for now and will get what you really want in the future and will only pay the difference.

what kind of advancement do you get with a step up? Prices and discounts come into effect as well?

No you would step up to the MSRP of the card at the time of joining the step up I do believe. I am not certain on that though, it could be when it's your turn. But either way I do believe when it's your turn you can decide not to proceed. The key is to get on the list within 90 days of purchase, of which you have to have registered for warranty, either the free extended warranty or the paid warranty.

Sounded like you trade cards so i was just wondering how that worked out for a card you already paid for.
