i have a a few first gen "Callisto Deluxe 60GB" mushkin's, casings are cut up (they had to much overhang and did not fit my laptop)
i sure i can dig them up and toss them your way if you cover shipping i think at most they might have 150 hours on them took them out when i sold the laptop been setting in a box ever sense.
the real question is where is that box??? i had 6 of them in that box

yea sure why not if they are free and still work, I could use 2 of them and will send some LTC to you as my way of covering the shipping cost

let me know too when you find them :)

Re: New motherboard mining issues 2014/03/29 00:14:30 (permalink)
found 1 today was not really looking for it that might be why.

i designed a rack that fits 5 GTX750 Ti's (or any card under 180mm) in the base of the 900D
mixed use rig anyone. drop a nice card for gaming and have all them 750 ti's hashing

was looking at some of the Cuda 6.0 code and gains from it.
with about a 1/3rd rewrite of cudaminer (I'm think about doing it my self)
and pure Cuda 6 + direct-compute implied i can see 750 ti's hitting 600kh+ on Ltc
"maxwell" has a lot more in it for us (‡¿‡) i can see next gen Maxwell doing 50+% better then AMD and on less power

btw i tested a few of the simple changes and recompiled cudaminer and my avg is 453KH/s now
i have shared this with the Christian he thinks he can get a new ver out soon with the findings and a cuda patch (or people will need to install the SDK with it)
test rig 450~486 avg 453 using 48.2watts from 1X powered riser
only tested x86 cudaminer. will post more findings later

453 KH/s on a 750 TI? Holy crap thats almost as fast as my R9 270's for like 1/3 the power consumption!!!!!

I'm definately interested in that new cudaminer release, can't wait. Wonder how much better my GTX 770 can do on it.

awesome find techmasterjoe you have skills

Re: New motherboard mining issues 2014/03/29 09:29:23 (permalink)
first and foremost the speed impact will most likely only help with maxwell a LOT has changed as to how it deals with memory when working with CUDA my modded core had zero speed impact on my 780 TI (but did cut cpu usage down by about 10%)
granted I'm running 1307 core and under-volted (hit the lotto) and getting around 770KH/s from my 780 Ti
(PNY with ref cooler on kingpin FW running 77c mining)
-m 1 -H 1 -q -i 0 -l T30x20 -b 8192  my 780 Ti settings
-m 1 -H 1 -q -i 0 -l E5x24 -b 8192 my 750 Ti settings E is the custom core i built replace with T and not passing out tell Christian can test it out and revise it into an official build

If you would please post me a DL link via PM of the modded cudaminer for testing?
Was it also some mods done to Cuda 6.0? If so that too for DL.
Thanks

For sure I will update as soon as they come in, on april 2nd. I am wanting to exchange on of my none OC editions r290x to newegg it doesn't like the magic 1500mhz number that most good cards like , my better cards are 940-970 (one OC one none OC)optimized by a noob and the other card gets 895 average, I bought it on the 5th of march so times ticking for the newegg exchange.

nope i gave everything to Cudaminers maker.. mahahaha and out of respect i will let Christian work on it he knows what he is doing I'm sure it he will drop a new ver soon.
plus if he builds in complete new DC 5.0 support it will be into 500KH/s (i think new GM2XX based cards will hit 1.5~2Mh/s range per card once full supported)

Well, this boards picky as hell with risers. I got all three cards recognized with 1 powered usb, 1 16x to 16x non powered and 1 1x to 16x non powered. I have 7 risers over 4 different styles so I'm glad I ordered extras.

That's weird that you had so many problems. I have one that's running 5 270xs off of a combination of powered and unpowered risers. Ran first time I turned it on in BAMT. Maybe I got lucky with my risers. Did you check the solder joints on all of your risers? They might not have been done correctly. That happened on a couple of mine, but were easy to fix.

Looks like two of the four original usb risers I have wont pick up cards on two different motherboards, so relieved to have this working now.
