T hose who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way. Affiliate Code: 3T15O1S07G

atfrico aw...you can't find a good meme to fight so sad.
I didn't need to, you already provided it for me.
Oh i see. You really follow the motto of your Masta Nvidia. Take the existing (my) meme, and make it yours. You forgot to slap your name on it...lmao That Nvidia programming is pretty good.

I personally think DXR looks awesome. Any game or tech demo I've seen that supports it looks worlds better with it on than with it off. Whether it is shadows in one game or lighting in another or reflections in the next... All of them look great and it only reinforces my long-held belief that ray tracing is the path forward to more realistic graphics. I've thought that since I was a kid and nothing in any of the material I've seen has changed my mind. I don't want to call anyone out, but I feel the need to question the eyesight of anyone that tries to claim otherwise... It is a bit ridiculous, to be honest. That said, it isn't awesome enough in its current implementation to get me to buy an RTX card. Not enough games support it and the performance hit is still too much for what you get. I think I'll wait a generation or two for the hardware to mature so that instead of having to choose between shadows or lighting or reflections you get all three and still have the performance to push 2560*1440 or even 4K comfortably.

kram36 Too funny as you're the one spreading the salt around here. I have zero issue with Nvidia taking a technology and making it better. Doesn't matter if they came up with it, as long as they make it better and we get to benefit from it. I wonder where AMD/ATi got the idea of Crossfire for their video cards?
You have plenty of issue with many pointing out that this technology has no real benefit, currently. And that RTX cars are overpriced as a result. I wonder where Nvidia got the idea for SLI in their video cards.

SLI came from when nVidia bought 3Dfx

Clearly it does... https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2922643
I read no objective commentary in that thread. The GN video leaves the reviewers confused about RTX. This is clearly an indication of it not providing benefits to game play. Particularly when you consider the price.
