It's my own damn fault for hesitating but if I ever get the 3080Ti I guess I'll have to go back and take another look at Asus.

I would be surprised if they weren’t able the clear the board queue quickly. There’s no shortages for these from other places so if EVGA can’t keep up with board demand there are some procurement issues internally they need to look into. Delaying the Dark is s different topic completely but I’m going to be shocked if they don’t clear the FTW queue this month.

I was lucky enough to get a Z590 board for my i7-10700k, but I am not entirely sure if it was the best pairing since it is not taking full use of 4th gen pci-e speeds. Thoughts?

I would say it's not that big of a deal. For graphics cards, Gen4 won't yield much of a performance improvement at all, and for SSDs you would need to purchase an expensive Gen4 NVMe to see any benefit. An 11-series CPU would be ideal but you can always wait until the next gen Intel chips are out and buy an 11900K on sale or even used for a heavy discount.

I didn't think the 10th gen chips would run PCIE 4.0 on a Z590? I remember reading an article somewhere about 4.0 only being available with 11th gen chips on the Z590 platform.

Would certainly be happy if it does work, since I have an I9-10900k waiting to be dropped into the FTW board. :)

You can install a 10th gen CPU but you will be limited to Gen3 on all PCIe ports. But I personally don't see that as a huge problem... Gen3 is still plenty fast for gaming and light productivity.

That was my thinking as well. Trying to find (at the time) an 11th gen chip that wasn't being scalped or overpriced was difficult, so I opted for the 10th gen instead.

Moving up from an I7-6700K to an I9-10900K is going to be a nice leap forward as it is, so I'm not too worried about not having an 11th gen chip. I can always pick one up later, once the 12th gen chips hit.

So the sli sticker means that you don't need the attachment? The mobo will do it itself?

 You still need the NVlink to link the cards together. The SLI sticker means the motherboard has the needed firmware, bios, etc.. to support SLI.

LOL. I wasn't paying attention to my email notifications. I've exceeded the 8 hour time time limit while I was at work. Time to go back to the end of the queue. Maybe, I'll get lucky around DEC 2021 or JAN 2022.

Reply to the email and ask for help. They usually help folks out with gpus when this happens.

They do? I have only seen them help out when there's been issues trying to purchase the item, but if you missed out on the 8 hour window through no fault of EVGA, unfortunately you're probably going to have to swallow that bitter pill. :/

Jacob wouldn’t commit to any Z590 FTW restock on stream which was annoying. Hopefully that shipment wasn’t lost lol. Still hoping for a drop soon though. I know they are juggling a lot with these new cards today too.

Well damn.. I missed the 8 hour window on one GPU a few months back, totally my fault and I accepted responsibility for that and moved on. I forgot that these days personal responsibility and integrity isn't worth a can of beans and everyone is entitled to ignore rules and just do whatever benefits them the most personally.
 
Seriously, it's very nice of EVGA to help out, but extremely unfair on those who actually respect the rules and take responsibility for their own actions. Just seems like a microcosm of the complete bs that is destroying this country. The only exception would be maybe some sort of medical emergency that meant it was impossible to respond in the 8 hour window, but how many (if any) cases would that apply to?
 
Do I sound salty? Yeah I am a little. Gimme my freaking GPU, and while I'm at it, I want a KPHC too - not my fault the site overloaded and I missed out. I'm entitled to it, right? Pfft.

I thought I read about someone in your predicament.  They found the Email and responded to it MONTHS late.  Follow that with a phone call to Customer Support.  They got the GPU.    I understand your sense of fair play.  But the rules are being bent all the time.  Up to you as to how you want to follow up.

What I'd really like to buy is the 3090 KPHC, but can't even get on the queue for that one. At least I have a good GPU - plenty of people still waiting in the queues after 6 months... some of whom might have got a GPU by now if the rules hadn't been bent for the entitled. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Dang, so they did get the drop in and I didn’t make the cut?

I just updated it from a couple days ago as PrettyPrincess added information today. They got their notification before today.

Just wondering if anyone knows the memory compatibility for the EVGA Z590 FTW WIFI. The link here just shows CPU compatibility:

 
I remember seeing the article for these boards a long time ago. I just learned today how long it took to bring one of them to market. I was also surprised to see no BIOS revisions released beyond 1.0 but I suppose EVGA puts in the time to put out a really good BIOS the first time. I admit this is the first EVGA board I'm looking at purchasing. Though if EVGA has put in the time it's curious that they have no memory compatibility list available for the board. Perhaps they support ALL's the modules :) Anyway any information would be helpful and very much appreciated!
 
I came across this board because I was looking for a quality enthusiast mainstream board that actually had 4 slot PCI-E GPU spacing AND you could actually install a 3 slot GPU in the bottom slot. While there are a number of boards that have 4 slot GPU spacing they all have vertical connectors along the bottom so as soon as you connect your case connectors and case audio to the board you can't put a 3 slot GPU in the bottom PCI-E slot. Vertical connectors wouldn't be a problem if boards had the first PCI-E slot in expansion slot 1 instead of expansion slot 2 however only boards that have 4 full PCI-E slots spaced 2 slots apart have the first PCI-E slot starting in expansion slot 1. The only X570 board that I came across that would actually work is the X570 MEG which is both expensive and comes with some unfortunate oversights. I also looked at TRX40 boards and funnily enough I couldn't find one where you could install a 2nd 3 slot GPU. TRX40 boards have the problem of having such a robust VRM that it pushes the socket and DIMM slots down into the area where expansion slot 1 is. I also found none that have horizontal connectors. As for Z490 Supermicro has the C9Z490-PGW which would work.
 
In short you need both 4 slot GPU spacing and horizontal connectors along the bottom of the board when the first PCI-E slot starts in expansion slot 2 to be able to install 2 x 3 slot GPU's. Most of the boards I looked at have a NVMe SSD spot in that first expansion slot spot.
 
The EVGA Z590 FTW WIFI motherboard works because the most important connectors along the bottom of the board are all horizontal. However if you where hoping to use the RGB headers and be able to install 2 3 slot GPU's you may be out of luck on the RGB connector front.
