I really hope they get stock on the EVGA website so I can at least use my EVGA bucks. Have been waiting for pcie 4 to build a new desktop. Since I will probably never be able to get a graphics card on the evga site I figure the Z590 would be perfect to use the bucks on. Just hope they load the product page and let use register for them like the GPU's so that we all don't have to play the try and check out before it goes OOS game.

I have a feeling with Ryzen fever gripping the PC building community the Z590 boards may be a little easier to get. It doesn't look like anything groundbreaking coming out with the 11th gen so less of a reason to upgrade past Z490. PCIe 4 alone doesn't seems like huge real-world performance gains. Upgrading MBs just seems to be a bit of a bigger step/hassle (and with less "gain") than upgrading the GPU. Not only do you have to buy a new board but a CPU along with it. But that's my perception.

Agree, but sometimes there's an itch and you just have to scratch it...

This is complete speculation: Z590 Dark will be between $499-$599, and will but $100-$150 off for Elite Members, also a guess. Keep in mind, the Z390 & Z490 prices were pretty comparable, so I'm expect that to stick, especially since Z590 (the chipset itself) is as cheap or cheaper to make than Z490. Might even be lower than $499 since the Kingpin that will eventually come will probably be upwards of $500.

I would guess a little bit higher; $499 for the FTW, maybe $650+ for the Dark. I'd be quite happy to be wrong though. Of course I'm pulling these numbers out of thin air - total speculation. :) The ASUS Maximus XIII Hero is $499, and they have 2 boards above that - the Extreme and the Extreme Glacial. The Extreme Glacial is in a class of it's own with rumors of an $1,800 tag (I'm guessing more around $1,500 tops), and the Extreme is rumored to be getting near $1,000, but I'm guessing $750 or so. With that in mind, $650 for the Z590 Dark would be quite reasonable in comparison - plus it looks sweet with all that coppery goodness. Yummy.

Just don't succumb to the urge to touch the copper! lol I'm sure everybody knows this, but we're so used to anodized aluminum in consumer goods that if this is uncoated copper, it'll tarnish quite a bit from any handling of our grubby fingers. We use copper heatsinks at work with thermoelectric modules sometimes and they work fantastic, but they get ugly pretty fast if they're handled a bunch.

Cool he's one of the really lucky ones LOL. I've built so many AMD Workstations and systems they're all more headaches and hassles than they're worth. DO NOT BUY AMD it's a scam, buy EVGA Z590 and a killer Intel chip and you'll be so much happier, get more out of it man. Don't fall for their marketing hype, BS. I've literally built 1000's of AMD chipset and Intel chipset Systems over the last few years. Take my advice or don't, but I'm telling you there's a reason Intel has 80% or whatever marketshare, because it's always better in the end, especially with EVGA Motherboards.

I don't touch my hardware with my bare hands, ever, if I can help it - everything that goes inside of the case gets handled with non-powdered gloves. I'm very much a stickler for making sure not to get fingerprints on stuff (resale value etc) and making sure ESD/shocking things isn't gonna happen either. Can be a huge pain sometimes, like when working with M.2s, if the gloves aren't the tighter kind, handling those tiny screws can be rage-inducing. I also don't have a magnetic screw driver that is that small ^_^
