Sure does. I had the 9900k as well and just upgraded the mb and cpu. The mono block works extremely but the caviat is if you need to change thermal paste etc. It is quite a bit as it's screwed in at multiple points



Yeah I wouldn't go monoblock personally, already have a base kit from EK that's the Quantum P360, just upgraded the radiator to a 480mm XE/60mm thickness version.
Right now I'm looking in to what motherboard to go with for the potential 10900K/10850K upgrade path I think I've settled on since the 11700K early review is so underwhelming, I'm expecting the 11900K to be "meh" too, and I'd rather have 10 cores than 8 if I can get'em.
Right now Newegg has the 10850K at $396 after a $15 promo code, with Crysis Remastered included free, so I'm doing my research in to what motherboard to get, I may get things ordered as early as tonight - I'd love to wait & get an eVGA Z590 Dark, but with the VRM heatsink being rotated, it would be in the way of my GPU's backplate cooling setup, so I don't think that's an option, and that also rules out the Z490 Dark too :(
I could always get the Z590 Dark & run the 3090 in the 2nd slot (4.0 x8 = 3.0 x16 in bandwidth, right? Right.) But that would look kinda silly.  Decisions decisions.

This is my 3080FE. I'm liking the 12 pin cable now that companies like EVGA and Corsair are offering a single 12 cable (single on the gpu side anyway).

That's a sick setup, that distro plate on the back area looks awesome & very unique, at least it's the first time I've seen it.

Thanks! That's the Phanteks D120 distro plate. EK makes one for about the same price and you can't go wrong with either one.

Yeah I can't do hard tubing, I have PTSD from a leak that happened many moons ago now lol 
It looks awesome but I just couldn't do it myself.

If you´re wondering, the protective peel is still on, because i have (want) to make some Changes. 

I´m going to get a Temp Display on the GPU and will swap the RGB Controller to something that addresses every Fan on its own instead of changing the Colour on all of them at once

Finally got my new loop together. Still sticking with soft tubing for ease of maintenance. Maybe next build I'll finally dedicate the time to hard tubing. Also one of my fans decided that it doesn't like to light up when the corsair commander pro is running, was lighting up perfectly fine on its own when I was leak testing. Oh well, going to troubleshoot that one some other time.

have some new addition to the 3090 Build, DDR4-4000 RAM my 5950x can run 1:1 FabricClock at 2GHz, AIDA64 in Case Monitor and some Logos (Housing and Logos Printed myself with 3D Printer)

Really nice setup Olaf.  You made use of every bit of space you could to pack in performance and looks.  Awesome rig bro.  Love the additional info panel and the frame around it.  I think you custom 3d printed that as well right?

That's nice way to spend 10-15k for both custom pcs.  The little brother doesn't look so little, looks to be a monster as well, just in a little smaller case.  Very nice builds bro.
