Now thats some information I can understand. It seems the cheaper short model also is not bringing the heatsink to the back of the card, so the SC shorty is the one I'll be looking for. Thank you.

EDIT: but if I had two 120mm fans blowing at the cards intakes, and the two card fans on a full sized, wouldn't the positive pressure force all the hot air out wherever it can go, like the back?

Not I do not think so, you may not fit two 120x25mm fans on this case with a two slot GPU.
Maybe a Scythe Slip Stream Slim 120mm Case Fan (SY1212SL12L)  4.7 x 0.5 (12 mm) x 4.7 inches

(12 mm)

Maybe a 120x20mm Fan

Thats why I asked about thickness, because the manual states I can fit 25mm fans safely if the GPU is no more than 35mm thick, or 10mm fans if the card is no more than 50mm thick.

I have never found a smaller fan than the (12 mm) above.
Two Slot GPU are 40mm FLAT with curve about 43mm to 46mm

What is that? I have two recently completed/in progress builds that use EVGA parts besides this node 202 build.

I havent really found much that talks about direct comparisons.

I have found comparisons of the 3GB vs 6Gb models but thats about all.

Just tried to get you started, I didn't read any of the articles.

The SC version is fine, don't get the non-SC version unless you want your GPU throttling, running 83C+ the whole time your gaming.

Should I go with the Evga 1060 SC or SSC version for best temps in the Fractal Define Nano S case? Anyone knows which dual slot is thicker, the SC or SSC 1060?

If I go with the SC version, it seems to exhaust most of the hot air to the back of the case similar to blower which is good since the GPU & PSU are close to each other.

However, if I go with SSC version, the 2nd fan will not be blocked but based on the earlier pics, it seems like the SSC version does not exhaust hot air behind the case.
