Just had to share.  The OEM card really performs well and stays at 71*c  on 4k Ultra settings on COD cold war zombie outbreak at Room temps. Its in a Modded Dell XPS 8930 with 120mm case fans.    I get about 70-120 FPS but im only running a 60HZ 4k 32" Samsung display. The textures look SICK!  I swapped around 3 cards in the 3 Desktops we have.  Im selling the Pre Built like many others.  the pre build came in at 1200$  with bare bones stuff.   I slapped in a Radeon RX 5600XT and am asking under 900$ for it.  Im not selling here I don't think its allowed.   Anyways Im not selling the 3070 for a few years. It took HP 2 1/2 months to get here.

I wish the backplate was Alloy but maybe it will be Modded one day if i can find parts.  Im using MSI afterburner to play with Fan Curves.

I was tempted to do this, but the extra HP-proprietary parts would've just been wasteful

I know I might literally part it out part by part even the case or not bad if I added more fans. I will maybe put my dell XPS MoBo in there if it lines up . I’ll have to research it .

Nice! Yeah it's a weird time right now where buying a pre-built is almost preferable to building a custom PC

Not a bad idea, yea getting pre-builts is not a bad option in this day and age, and im glad to see you are not overcharging for the new system you put together. Someone will be happy with that.

can you tell us if the GPU performs with similar performance, temps, and fan loudness as GPUs like the FE, FTW3, TUF, XC3, etc? thanks

Yes it looks like a pos, but it’s even stable when overclocked using MSI afterburner. I set a fan curve and clicked scan and let it do it’s thing for an hour and I got a good overclock but it was for fun. I run it stock. I have 2 added case fans [3] 120mm fans.  It’s a dell XPS. not the best ventilated case for sure. I also run a seasonic 850 watt psu. I’m really impressed with the 3070. I always loved my EVGA 1080 SC . The HP OEM 3070 runs quieter actually . But now I’m stuck with parts basically nobody wants the Omen 25L it’s the bottom of the food chain even with the Radeon RX5600 6tb DDR6

to be honest, i think the card looks fine. looks better than the EVGA cards. i guess as long as you have good enough case fans, it'll make up for it only having 2 fans

So far the only issue is the latest drivers from Nvidia. I had to run DDU and go back to 466.47.  466.77 Produces crashes every time in COD Cold war zombies and multiplayer after only 10-20 min of playing.  I just looked at the FTW3 and Ewww it looks like Poo Poo
